Ukraine needs its instructors to be taught by NATO trainers to condense the standard two-month basic training into one month. Good grief, I didn't realise that it was that bad- I feel for the poor conscripts. When I did my basic training it was 3 months and that was just all arms, After that the infantry had more training before being posted to Vietnam.

If one can it's a no brainer. Far less faffing around, no home visits, same day approval for extensions etc. Also if one gets divorced one doesn't have all the obvious problems with an extension based on being married.
