Happened to me, but I didn't pay anything because I washed the sheets in the sink and sponged the mattress the same colour all over. Took all day to dry and I had to bar the staff from entering to clean the room. Although it was a lot of blood, I was surprised by how much effort it took to clean it off the sheets. I couldn't get the large area of blood completely off the mattress so had to make the entire mattress look the same colour all over. Must have worked as the staff didn't complain next day when cleaned the room. If one didn't want to do that, one would have to pay for a new mattress and sheets. It's hardly an hotel responsibility to pay for new themselves.

One suspects Netflix won't be making any sequels.

From what I saw on Al Jazeera that's not the case. They want conditions to vote for him, and are using the situation to get them. I suspect the same will happen to any nominated till they get what they want.

I hope that is not some attempt to claim that "sea level rise" is different in different parts of the world. Given that gravity hasn't changed, surely any rise anywhere will be the same in measurement as anywhere else. Ergo, if sea level where I live is basically the same as when I was a child, it is unlikely that islands in the Pacific are more affected by "sea level rise" than here. Of course if one can prove that gravity has increased or decreased in certain parts of the world it would explain why some areas are affected by "sea level rise" more than others.

I went home because of number 4, but even if I had to use a big bucket of water instead of a bum gun, and I had to live on fried rice I'd have stayed if I'd had enough for the 800,000 in the bank AND health insurance. BTW, the guy obviously never had a tilac in a village if he thinks a big bucket of water is enough to make one go home, LOL. As for drinking too much, so what? They won't invade any NATO or country with a treaty with the west. If they want to invade Afghanistan by all means do so.

If the US or a NATO country gives Ukraine weapons capable of attacking the Russian land eg Moscow, it would be regarded by Russia as an attack by the US or NATO. That's why they have not done so. Any attack by Ukraine on Russia would have to be with their own weapons. Does anyone seriously think Putin is going to "end the war"? The only way the war will end without a Ukrainian surrender, IMO, is if Putin is no longer in charge. It took a change of leader to end Russian involvement in Afghanistan. IMO Putin has gone too far to back off now.

That was then, not now. He's too old, he has too much baggage, and the obstruction by the opposition will just be worse, so not enough will get done to fix the country and after 4 years of Biden it really will need fixing, IMO. I'd like to say that not anything Democratic is bad- they did have Kennedy at least, but after 2 years of Democrat control of all 3 elements of government, I can't think of anything good they've done other than would also have been good under the GOP. However, I can think of a lot of bad that they have done. BTW, I'm really really really happy that she didn't win. He was worth it just for that alone.
