  1. LOL. Some on here probably think a certain American politician is the antichrist. However, given the most common interpretation of Revelations, the coming situation in a certain country has a possibility of fulfilling the criteria for Armageddon.
  2. Sounds like a conspiracy theory to me.
  3. My biggest fear with regard to '24 is that he will split the vote an allow a Democrat to win the White House. Hopefully his children will persuade him to let it go. I doubt anyone else can.
  4. You seem really keen to expand the war. Ever considered that NATO doing more could be an invitation to go nuclear?
  5. Feel lucky? Didn't stop for me, and my cancer contained and removed entirely. The ED was easily solved with little pills. That was the least of my problems with the op. I also had problems with the join in the utrethra growing and obstructing the passage. Had to go back for further surgery to remedy that and had to use in out catheter to keep it open. Other problems like having that <deleted> catheter for a while both times. Since my op there are alternatives that I'd have rather used. If I could go back I'd use hormones instead, but never ever radical surgery. Potential problems with every option though.
  6. Many years ago they put lights on the crossings, but basically ignored. There was a VDO on the forum of a cop car driving through a red light! Eventually they switched the lights off. If they have switched them on again as claimed, does anyone stop for them? In Chiang Mai they'd stop on red but carry on through red soon as the pedestrian had crossed.
  7. 55555555555555555555 Talk about leaping to conclusions. You need no other exercise, LOL. Before I got prostate cancer I'd walk for hours, or walk instead of taking the bus. Not forgetting that nurses walk miles a day as part of the job.
  8. My "chemistry" lessons consisted of writing equations in an exercise book. No explanation given about them. Never had any experiments. Worst chemistry teacher on the planet. LOL. He was so bad I still remember him when most of the other teachers have faded into obscurity.
  9. Before I went home for last time I must have posted about 50 parcels ( not all at the same time- over about 2 weeks ). P O staff always polite and helpful. PS I had my passport with me.
  10. I liked it dull. I avoided places with lots of tourists, eg the night market near Tha Phae gate, like the plague.
  11. Probably not too long to wait for it. The only question is whether any government is brave ( or stupid ) enough to impose lockdown again?
  12. Millions live in the area ( up north ). They ain't all sick or dying, are they?
  13. All rocks. Plenty better places even back then.
  14. Marine Disco was always packed out in high season when I went in there. Rip off on booze prices too.
  15. It's up to the customs isn't it! They've been through a lean couple of years so what is the betting that they won't be looking to make up for that now? I've read many posts about customs demanding outrageous amounts on goods before they will release them.
  16. Correct, Fly an airline that allows the max weight of checked luggage. If it won't fit in or is too heavy it's not needed, as everything can be bought in LOS other than personal keepsake items.
  17. I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic.
  18. I hadn't thought about that. No electricity, no car 555555555555555555555555555
  19. It's going to create havoc with the second hand car market. What dumb bell is going to buy an electric car when the battery will need changing. Most people can't afford a new car, so if they stop petrol sales how are people going to get around- bicycle?
  20. Unfortunately it's usually a case of the least worse candidate. The offerings to vote on are sadly not much good these days.
  21. Unless such was illegal it's meaningless in the context of "getting Trump" for something, anything to stop him standing in '24. I assume Trump had tax accountants, like most rich people do to minimise their tax payments.
  22. From the linked article. Former President Trump wanted to fire the former White House chief usher for helping the Bidens move into the executive mansion, former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham told the select committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. I don't see any corroborating evidence for that, so is it just her word ( for what that is worth )?
  23. Well pointed out. Very much what I see here too.
  24. Businesses have "gone under" for as long as there have been businesses. The good ones will survive, the bad ones won't be missed. Brexit is just an excuse for not being a worthwhile business.
