  1. And yet other PR holders have reported they always DID fill in the TM6. How about doing it in any case, it will take a few minutes and costs nothing. If you don't need it you'll know for the next time.
  2. Come out from where? They are not going in anywhere.
  3. Yes I saw that. Where can I read about it. And what about the 300 baht slush fund? Or I guess that will be tagged on later?
  4. Yes it is. But because this is only an arrival card and not an authorisation that needs approval it is easy for there to be a on arrival backup. My only direct experience of this in Japan where there are paper forms for those who didn't complete the online arrival information in advance, works fine and only delays those who couldn't or didn't bother in advance. But when this perhaps morphs into an ETA, which does need approval, that will be a different matter altogether.
  5. I would hope that won't be happening until the ETA gets finished. The TDAC is simply a self made statement, not a "clearance". They will have a stack of TM6 forms on arrival, as they always used to, for the incapable travellers.
  6. Sounds similar to the toilets in Tilac.
  7. The priority lanes are clearly signposted. Just follow the signs. No vaccination records are required, unless you have been in a yellow fever country.
  8. Why? They see only the statement and the deposits marked as international. I have not detected any confusion from them thus far.
  9. It's not a nightmare and the system normally works fine. In case you prefer not to travel to Bangkok/Chiang Mai you can easily use an agent for the application.
  10. Presumably you have your re-entry permit and are aware of the TDAC? So is your question more related to avoiding the crowds of people not having filled in their TDAC? I have never used the paid for fast track/priority arrivals services, do they even still exist? But if over 70 you can use the priority lane in any event.
  11. All my transfers to Kasikorn show as international on my printed statements (not in the bankbook). And it makes no difference what the reason for transfer is used.
  12. Passports also don't have accented characters in the machine readable name - this is what needs to be entered.
  13. No they don't send your expiring passport. For the reasons you mention. This is why you have to collect the new one "in person" so they can cancel (cut the corner) of the old one.
  14. And the good news is that the same reminder has returned with the upcoming TDAC.... "2. If the alien stays in the Kingdom longer than 90 days, he/she must notify in writing the nearest Immigration Officer, concerning place of stay, as soon as possible upon expiration of 90 days. And required to do so every 90 days."
  15. I know what I would do. I'd fill it in just in case., takes a couple of minutes and costs nothing.
  16. Did you already do the online pension forecast? (https://www.gov.uk/check-state-pension) That will tell you how many years you need to add to get the full pension. I have many missing years but still qualify for the full pension, no need to top up anything.
  17. I think you've cracked it. Incompetence on their side. I really hope they resolve it.
  18. Might be good if the OP posted a redacted version of the received email.
  19. What floor are you on, is it high enough to be sure of success?
  20. I would bypass VFS and attempt contact with HMPO. Can you reply to their email? They do have a number to call but you already know how that will go. Maybe someone on here has a real working contact at HMPO.
