  1. I registered easily with my phone number but likely this is not useful for tax refunds.
  2. Very doubtful (legally) but interested what made you ask the question - facebook advert?
  3. Quite possibly with no functioning juristic body there was nobody collecting (or at least spending) residents fees and therefore the gate is open and unprotected.
  4. There is no definitive answer, as many people will tell you yes as will tell you no. But even asking the question suggests you already knew that.
  5. That is visiting on business on behalf of a non Thai employer. It obviously does not cover being employed in Thailand.
  6. I used to go to Queen Sirikit near Rayong and for sure, there was a notice on the wall telling that foreigners paid more (I think 50%). Absolutely fine by me.
  7. If you stay in a hotel do you do it? No. It is their responsibility. Same applies to staying in your wifes home. Immigration may have shifted the onus onto the person staying but ultimately in your situation is is actually her responsibility (and easier) to do it herself.
  8. As it is your wife that is supposed to do the TM30 why not just get her to register? She then simply reports your presence as required.
  9. I think you are right, the truth for instance.
  10. No you doesn't, but the inference is clear.
  11. "“African people, who have black skin and flat noses that make it difficult to breathe, are hired for millions of baht to be models. Thai people look much better. There’s no need for [our people to get] nose, jaw or breast augmentation."
  12. You mean you have a 12 month extension of stay? All you need is a re-entry permit, single or multiple. You can buy that at the airport on departure or at immigration at any time, no need to wait for your next extension.
  13. Why wonder? HBA1C, then you know.
  14. Lucky indeed. Otherwise you'd have had to find an exchange place to change them, never easy in an airport.
  15. Same way all the farang "owned" houses in the area, of which there are very many.
  16. Presumably you mean you got a 12 month extension together with a multi re-entry permit? The only thing you need to do is make sure they stamp you in correctly when you return, i.e. to the expiry date of the re-entry permit. The e-visa isn't new. It does not impact you in any way.
  17. Which will be where and when?
  18. 1) Yes. (see old thread below - there may be newer updates but is a start) 2) No.
  19. Used them last year to and from Da Nang. No issues whatsoever. Flights on time, planes were fine.
  20. ....actually not, she passed it to the ref.
  21. 2 months before, 3 months after. Then 400 in between.
