  1. The sandbox transit flights never got off the ground. You must fly directly into HKT from an international departure point.
  2. Kasikorn will give you a usable .csv file with the following transaction details but I suspect the "notes" missing on your Krungthai version will also be missing here as well.
  3. I wonder what the medical researchers of the "Veterinary Health Innovation and Management Research Group unit of the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC)" actually do. I suspect sit watching fayboo all day waiting for Dr Yong. Does he even have a dog?
  4. You read it correctly. As regards your 7 or 10 day confusion is that the London embassy you have been looking at? Seems they have their headings ar5e backwards as "not fully vaccinated" people also need vaccination certificates.????
  5. 7 days minimum, depending on vaccination and origin. See here; https://www.tatnews.org/2021/12/thailand-reopening-happy-quarantine-nationwide/
  6. Thailand Pass is not on hold. Test & Go is on hold. Thais apply for Thailand Pass for AQ or Sandbox (Phuket) as before.
  7. You also need to have booked and paid for your 2-day (max) after arrival test. I'd have confirmation of that printed as well.
  8. It used to be 6 months in the UK, now it's 3. Presumably they did some checking into safety.
  9. It says DNA analysis. And we all know how good they are at them here. Always get the answer desired.
  10. Well, GOV.UK says "The next of kin must provide proof they are related to the person that died and inform the embassy in writing who they have requested to make the arrangements" and when you click the inform the embassy link it pops up an email link. So presumably email is their preferred communication method.
  11. You cannot transit in BKK, you must fly directly into HKT. Luckily Finnair are flying HEL-HKT (AY151) so ought not be a problem for you.
  12. So does mine. But you can't use Wise to send money from Thailand to it, or to anywhere else for that matter.
  13. At least you admit you want to visit bars. That's something of a a rarity here. So forget the walking and sightseeing smokescreen and head directly to Pattaya (if it's open). You can always bail out to Bangkok which most certainly is worth going to albeit without the scenic walks.
  14. Should be no problem in them getting their restaurant license, they have been serving bananas for many years.
  15. My wife handled mine but I do recall having to take a basket of that chicken gloop to some guy in an office in Nongprue. Seemed to work though.
  16. I would definitely agree about the shaving. I take Clopidogrel (I think Rivaroxaban is similar in effect) and whilst any minor scratch or cut will bleed annoyingly for some minutes a shaving cut will not stop for hours. I once cut myself shaving before leaving to fly to the UK and bled constantly for 23 hours. I guess it does show the meds have some effect.
  17. Not in Pattaya now but back in the day Cafe des Amis would be my choice. I've seen little to suggest that it still isn't one of the best places in town.
  18. Because when you apply from within the UK, or pretending to be, nothing happens with your application until they receive your old passport.
  19. ....and then left himself in Thailand with no passport at all. There is a reason why the system is as it is, all that is needed is to apply in good time, not hard really.
