  1. It is required if you changed your address after entering the country. The OP asked if it was needed after entering the country. I would assume he returned to the same address like most people that are here on long stay extensions (retirement in the OP's case). The TM30 report is only required if entering with a new visa or if you change addresses.
  2. There is no requirement to update the number on the TM6 card. That is entered in the system when your enter the country. A TM30 report has nothing to do with your new TM6 number. A TM30 is done to report your arrival at your residence but it is only needed if you change addresses or enter with a new visa. If you do the 90 day report there is a space on the TM47 report for the TM6 number The new online report system does not require or have a space for your TM6 to be entered.
  3. Not sure what you mean by the white card. That might a Chiang Mai thing unless you mean the receipt for a TM30 report. It not normal for the receipt to be updated. Most offices will want a new report if required. I don't recall any reports of people being fined.
  4. You can download the regulation in this pinned topic in English or Thai at numbers 30 and 31. https://aseannow.com/topic/981135-laws-regulations-police-orders-etc/ Chiang Mai immigration has been reported as not complying with the new regulation.
  5. Several baiting and bickering posts have been removed along with derogatory comments. Time to end it now or formal warnings will be given.
  6. That is normal. The new 90 day report will start from the day the report is done and it is the same when doing it in person or by mail..
  7. Not sure about oversight of offices. It might help if somebody called the 1178 helpline about it.
  8. I am aware a few rogue offices are not following the new rules.
  9. 1. The 90 day report has to done no later than the day your current report was due. Your online report will be rejected. 2/3. If you do the report in person within 7 days for the report date their will be no fine. The fine is 2000 baht if your report later than 7 days. There is no daily fine of 200 baht.
  10. A TM30 report is no longer required after entering the country with a re-entry permit. The regulation was changed in June of 2020.
  11. If individual photos they would have to attached to A4 paper. They can be printed on A4 paper. I do my own and print them on photo paper. You will need two sets photos along with all other documents attached to a TM7 form.
  12. Immigration will accept conlor photo for the TM7 form and those in and around the house for a extension based upon marriage.
  13. The receipt does not have TM30 on it. Receipt of notification is shown on it. Your signature is not required for on a TM30 form. Screen grab of the receipt. TM30 download: TM30 Form Notification of aliens staying at a residence101.92 kB · 1387 downloads
  14. That is certainly not something that immigration would complete. When the report is done online all the info is entered by the person doing it and it is submitted to immigration and their is no receipt for it.
  15. This screengrab from the list of countries that qualify for VOA's and visa exemption. Download: List of countries for visa exempt and visas on arrival dated October 2021.
  16. No It has always been called a visa exempt or visa waiver when you enter without a visa of any kind. A look at your arrival stamp informs you of what you had when you enter the country. A exempt is written as ผ.30 on the first line of it. And your admitted until date on the 2nd line would be for 30 days from the day you arrived. A tourist visa would be written as a TR-60 with a 60 days of stay on the 2nd line.
  17. If you were to get a 30 day extension it would probably be ending early enough to apply for the covid 19 extension on or before July 24th when the current order for them ends. The order for theme could possibley be extended again for another 60 days. At this time you only tick a few boxes on a blank affidavit immigration has you complete and sign. Only the covid 19 pandemic is enough to get the extension.
  18. There is really no requirement to do it in person if you have had your stamps transferred to the new passport. Your local immigration office would have your new passport number in their database that they can check.
  19. They really got a lot of things wrong when they did the report. Maybe ask them to do another one. No You can only apply for one 30 day extension per entry of the country. You may be able to apply for a 60 day covid 19 extension near the end of your 30 day extension.
  20. No The e visa website is use to apply for a visa at some embassies and official consulates. After it is approved you get a stickerless visa by email.
  21. 7. You passport photo page will prove you are a resident of Ireland. 8. Not needed. 10. It is needed. 11. is the same as 7.
  22. There is a ongoing topic about it here. https://aseannow.com/topic/1263204-long-term-resident-visas/ It has a link for info posted in that topic. https://www.humanresourcesonline.net/guide-to-thailand-s-new-long-term-resident-visa-from-1-sep-2022
  23. This link works. https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/ImmigrationOfficeGovernmentComplexChaengWattanaRd@imm1division.onmicrosoft.com/bookings/ Have you changed addresses since the last TM30 was done? All you might need is proof it was done by showing the receipt for it. A TM30 report is certainly not required to do a 90 day report online.
