It is required if you changed your address after entering the country. The OP asked if it was needed after entering the country. I would assume he returned to the same address like most people that are here on long stay extensions (retirement in the OP's case). The TM30 report is only required if entering with a new visa or if you change addresses.

There is no requirement to update the number on the TM6 card. That is entered in the system when your enter the country. A TM30 report has nothing to do with your new TM6 number. A TM30 is done to report your arrival at your residence but it is only needed if you change addresses or enter with a new visa. If you do the 90 day report there is a space on the TM47 report for the TM6 number The new online report system does not require or have a space for your TM6 to be entered.

1. The 90 day report has to done no later than the day your current report was due. Your online report will be rejected. 2/3. If you do the report in person within 7 days for the report date their will be no fine. The fine is 2000 baht if your report later than 7 days. There is no daily fine of 200 baht.

Are colored photos needed for visa extension
ubonjoe replied to bluebanana's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
If individual photos they would have to attached to A4 paper. They can be printed on A4 paper. I do my own and print them on photo paper. You will need two sets photos along with all other documents attached to a TM7 form. -
Are colored photos needed for visa extension
ubonjoe replied to bluebanana's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Immigration will accept conlor photo for the TM7 form and those in and around the house for a extension based upon marriage. -
No It has always been called a visa exempt or visa waiver when you enter without a visa of any kind. A look at your arrival stamp informs you of what you had when you enter the country. A exempt is written as ผ.30 on the first line of it. And your admitted until date on the 2nd line would be for 30 days from the day you arrived. A tourist visa would be written as a TR-60 with a 60 days of stay on the 2nd line.

If you were to get a 30 day extension it would probably be ending early enough to apply for the covid 19 extension on or before July 24th when the current order for them ends. The order for theme could possibley be extended again for another 60 days. At this time you only tick a few boxes on a blank affidavit immigration has you complete and sign. Only the covid 19 pandemic is enough to get the extension.

90 days report online
ubonjoe replied to jeff270476's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
There is really no requirement to do it in person if you have had your stamps transferred to the new passport. Your local immigration office would have your new passport number in their database that they can check. -
7. You passport photo page will prove you are a resident of Ireland. 8. Not needed. 10. It is needed. 11. is the same as 7.

How to apply for LTR Visa (Long-Term Resident)
ubonjoe replied to Chevol's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
There is a ongoing topic about it here. https://aseannow.com/topic/1263204-long-term-resident-visas/ It has a link for info posted in that topic. https://www.humanresourcesonline.net/guide-to-thailand-s-new-long-term-resident-visa-from-1-sep-2022 -
This link works. https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/ImmigrationOfficeGovernmentComplexChaengWattanaRd@imm1division.onmicrosoft.com/bookings/ Have you changed addresses since the last TM30 was done? All you might need is proof it was done by showing the receipt for it. A TM30 report is certainly not required to do a 90 day report online.
