  1. You can show both passports on arrival here and they will use your re-entry permit in you old passport and stamp your arrival stamp in your new passport with note stating you used your old passport with its number in it as well. Then you will have to go to immigration to have your stamps transferred to the new one.
  2. Have you applied for a 60 day extension to visit your child since your last entry using a visa? If not you could apply for one and then apply for the one year extension.
  3. That is for a extension based upon being the parent of a non Thai child. His child is Thai.
  4. They may do another one that early if you go shortly before March 25th. You would be applying about 22 days early. There is a very good chance they will extend the order for them again before the 25th of March.
  5. You would if you applied for a non-o visa at immigration. "Other Relevant Documents such as; Rental Agreement between the Applicant and The Landlord. With a copy of ID card and House Registration of the Landlord (certified true copy by the Landlord) : Condo or House purchase agreement ; Location the house or condo map and a rental receipt Past three months." 6. The news article states only test and go for entry at a hotel near the border crossing for the first test and then anywhere elses for the 2nd test. My question is what will be needed to enter Malaysia.
  7. It is sent to the division headquarters for approval. The local office only accepts the application. Unlike extension applications there is no under consideration period for visa applications. No He already tried to use one year of the transfers to apply for the non-o visa.
  8. The 60 day extension is done an the local immigration office not a a airport or a border crossing.
  9. Malaysia may be an option next month by land. It is in the news today.
  10. That is only done in Phuket when arriving on a international flight. In Bangkok the hotel used for a one night stay arranges them when entering under the Test & Go scheme.
  11. Yes they will. A return or onward ticket is not required if you have any valid visa to use for entry.
  12. You can extend a entry from a OA visa yourself. Not need to hire an agent. I don't think many people have applied for a Non-OX visa at the Thai Embassy or official consulate in their home country. I have not seen many posts by people that have one.
  13. A onward flight is certainly not required to enter the country or to apply for a 30 day extension of it. I have seen no reports of anybody having a problem when entering the country or immigration asking for one.
  14. A Non-OA visa is only valid for one year and it allows unlimited 1 year entries up to the day it expires. There is the Non-OX visa that is valid for 10 years and allows one year entries. A Thai Elite visa is valid for 5 years or more if you want one. it allows unlimited one year entries to the day it expires.
  15. There is no 20 day extension that exists. And no extension for less than 90 days and that is for volunteer work the rest are all one year extensions unless married to or the parent of Thai you can get a 60 day extension.
  16. Not travel related. Moved to the business and banking forum.
  17. It might be possible to enter Laos but returning to Thailand at the bridge would not be possible and if you did enter there would be a 14 day quarantine needed.
  18. Most offices will require you to do the standard 30 day extension before you apply for the covid 19 extension. I think they will extend the order for the 60 day covid extensions again in March.
  19. There is no written requirement for it but some offices may want a letter from the school to confirm they are attending school. Some have asked for photos of you and your child together at the school. Are you the legal father of your child by way of marriage or legitimization of your parenthood?
  20. That was just a officer at the immigration office where you applied at giving you false info. Go to another province and check into a hotel ann ask them to give you a screenshot of the online TM30 they did to show immigration when you apply for the extension at the office there.
  21. What type of visa did you use for entry to the country is a factor now. If you entered with a non immigrant visa you cannot apply for a 60 day covid 19 extension. If on a tourist visa or visa exempt entry it can still be applied for until March 26th. There is no limit on how many you can get.
  22. You do not need to do that. You can enter with your re-entry permit without a problem since you would be returning to Thailand.
  23. You are correct. The article is dated December 23rd at about the same time omicron became a problem. The land border crossings to Laos are still closed.
