  1. You will do everything at MTT since you entered visa exempt. If you have the receipt for your previous report for the same address they should accept that. If not you would need a new one. CW does tourist visa entries.
  2. You could wait and do it until you do your extension but I think stamp transfers and extensions are done at different desks at CW.
  3. But not in his cased. He got his new passport while outside the country and used both passports when he entered the country. The letter is only needed if you apply for and receive the new passport while in the country.;
  4. You can enter with only 30 days of insurance to meet the minimum requirement. If you want more than that you can get a longer one if you want to have the coverage.
  5. Yes You will only need to change the reason for your extension of stay.
  6. You can change the reason for your extension of stay based upon teaching to one based upon marriage to a Thai without leaving the country. You will need 400k baht in Thai bank for 2 months on the day you apply or proof of 40k baht income. If you need more time to apply for the one year extension you could apply for a 60 day extension to visit your wife. You will need a letter from your school stating the last day you will be working for immigration to cancel your current extension of stay on the day you apply for either the one year or 60 day extension.
  7. You should of already taken care of your extension of stay (it is not a visa) expiring the day after you got a new passport. You will supporting documents from the university to apply for a new extension of stay since your current one expired on the day your passport expired. Go to immigration with the supporting documents for your extension of stay application and have enough money to pay the 500 baht a day fine for overstaying since the day your extension ended.
  8. A Thai can apply for a one year extension at immigration without any proof other than that they are Thai. They might waive the overstay fine at a immigration office.
  9. Not the same since they are near Thailand and you were probably residing in Thailand. Check a few embassy websites in Europe and the locations you mentioned and you find the they you to be a resident in the country's where you apply or a country that is under their jurisdiction. You can use proof of only 30 days of the $50,000 insurance required for entry.
  10. A non UK or Irish citizen needs proof they are a legal resident of the UK to apply for a Thai visa. That would be a valid visa or some other proof they are legally residing in the UK or Ireland.
  11. That was for applying for the passports here not at a embassy or official consulate. Many embassy and consulates will on issue the first passport without being registered in house book.
  12. You cannot take a flight from Bangkok to Phuket on the same day you arrive. All flights from there to Phuket are domestic flights. You will have to stay in Bangkok for at least one night if fully vaccinated to get you first covid 19 test. Then again on the 5th day you will have to stay in a hotel for one night to get another covid 19 test. If going into the Sandbox in Phuket you have arrive there on a international flight.
  13. You would need a Thailand Pass after a trip to anywhere when you enter the country.
  14. I think I would buy a ATK and test myself to have a little confidence that I would not test positive when the RT-PCR test was done. I might even do 2 ATK tests to be more sure.
  15. The number I can recall mentioned is 478 baht per month. They will debit your bank account for the payments.
  16. This is the link for the new online reporting site. https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/login
  17. What you mention would normally be possible but the border hop part is not very feasible at this time due to travel restriction and the land borders being closed. You wife should check with embassy in Washington DC or one of the 3 official consulates in the states. If might be easier for them to get temporary passports to enter the country as Thais. How long do you plan on staying in the country? Have you children been registered in house book yet. That has to be done before they can apply for Thai passports.
  18. That could of been easily avoided it he had arranged to apply for a extension of stay at immigration based up being under the care of a hospital or doctor. Most hospital have staff that are familiar with applying for extensions when needed.
  19. Chinese New Year is not a holiday in Thailand. Immigration will be open.
  20. The benefit is that you can continue using a government hospital for treatment without being charged for it. I suggest you contact the local SS office about it.
  21. She can complete a TM30 form to report your arrival. It will need signed copies of her house book and ID card attached to it. Form download: TM30 Form Notification of aliens staying at a residence101.92 kB · 1327 downloads
  22. I suggest you make arrangements to pay for the Thai social security medical insurance for a little less than 500 baht.
  23. With proof she is hospitalized immigration could waive the need for her to present when the extension is applied for and allow her to do the required affidavit in front of a witness.
