    This should surely apply to the highly civilised Liberal Democracies [whatever that is] who have managed to mangle and convince the populous that their historic base is free of criminality and corruption, yet are clearly the leaders of skullduggery, scallywaggery and blatant corruption and moral misappropriations.

    Investigative journalism. A distinguished entity these days. And, on the more than few occasions that it does pop it's head up here or there, it's almost always squelched and twisted by establishment forces. Appears to be the projected norm the world over. Dumbing down is the accepted comfort.
