I rest my case your honor. You've pretty much made my case, I have always thought immigrants are the best part of what America has to offer, always has been and always will be. Blue blooded Americans offer very, very little in the way of contribution to society other than their arrogance and intolerance. Immigrants are what makes America great and as they say the cream rises to the top. There's a reason why there's so many Indian CEOs, perhaps they are genetically superior. What a concept. Dark men beating out white men. Ha! When it comes to intelligence they're certainly a lot more intelligent than the average white guy I run into in the US. And I'm a white man so not even start calling me a racist. I'm just telling it as I'm seeing it. Immigrants are the best of what America has to offer, hands down. I won't even apologize to the proud boys, they can suffer in their own self created misery and delusion.

Police Investigating Death Of Toddler Found Stuffed In Fridge
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
One can only hope that these people get locked up and never see the light of day. I'm sure once their fellow inmates find out what they are guilty of they will be given special privileges and treated with special care. -

Taoism: s**t happens Buddhism: if s**t happens, it isn't really s**t Islam: if s**t happens, it is the will of Allah Catholicism: if s**t happens, you deserve it. Judaism: why does this s**t always happen to us? Atheism: I don't believe this s**t. -
Even better advice would have been never travel to Russia under any circumstances, it is not some place you need to go, you do not want to subject yourself to their nonsense and their extreme official behavior. Avoid Russia like the plague, it is hell on earth, do not go, do not consider it, eliminate it from your list of possibilities. Avoid the land of King Vlad and his filthy military, FSB, hitmen, and police.

While it certainly possible that she drowned, it's fairly unlikely considering that he was poolside and would have seen her struggling. Hopefully an autopsy can determine whether or not the drowning was inflicted or an accident, if indeed it was drowning. If not this guy is in for a world of hurt. It's never a good thing to be seen in public arguing with a Thai woman and then to have her dead minutes later.

Trump says Civil War ‘could have been negotiated’
spidermike007 replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
Yes I'm sure his wonderful white boys would have been very amenable to negotiate a pact with their slaves, perhaps they would have agreed to pay them $2 per year as compensation rather than have their labor be totally free. In Trump's world they may have even agreed not to violate their women. The one has to realize that these kind of comments are coming from the mind of a madman who is completely unhinged, and has no connection whatsoever with reality. He will say or do anything, truth, integrity, morality and honor are not anything that he deals in. He deals in lies, fabrication, fiction, exaggeration, deflection, dishonor, crime. He will say anything, whatever it takes to keep his devotees happy and make illicit cash. -
Just forget online dating. Meeting women here is so easy. As long as you have some game. If you have a great sense of humor, and are able to make them laugh and feel relaxed, if you are decent looking, and dress decently, and are well groomed, it can be quite easy here. Generally, Thai woman are very comfortable with their femininity, with flirting, and open to talking with someone who approaches them, very unlike women in the West, these days. Of course, it also depends on who you pursue. If you are going after wealthy women, who are wearing $3,500 outfits, you will likely get turned down. If you are in your 30's, Thailand is your oyster. But, even for older guys, there are hundreds of thousands of good looking, younger Thai women who are open to being with a foreigner, as long as he is financially stable. 98% of women want that stability. You simply need to be very assertive, have some game, hopefully have a minimal amount of bling, and a great sense of humor. If you can get them to laugh within a few moments of striking up a conversation with them, you are on your way. Even the smaller towns are good hunting grounds. Gals who work in hotels, restaurants, retail stores, etc. If in a town like Pattaya, stay away from the beach areas, and you will be fine finding a real civilian. Step up to the plate often, and just approach as many strangers are you can. Make a sport of it. You will find some good ones, and they are likely to be real civilians, unlike online.

Thailand to abolish hefty import tariff on wine
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I will believe it when I see it. Progressive policy is not exactly the hallmark of this current administration, nor was it something the last administration engaged in. So we have 10 years of regressive politics. Is that about the change now? This would be a very positive step in the right direction and would be something that might help to attract the higher end tourists they are constantly talking about. Now, they have to look at the luxury taxes and lower them too, as the boutiques in Thailand don't do much business and are simply name brand showrooms for the major brands that support them, and lose alot of money on them. Nobody is going to spend $11,700 on a Prada purse they can buy in Singapore for $4,600. -
No, they will not be reasonable. I found myself in the same position you will simply have to pay a fee to either an agent at the office or an outside agent, in my particular case I had to pay a 10,000 baht fee to get them to do fake bank statements. I dealt with an officer right at the office. They are nearly all crooked.

Ex-ship captain identified as head of major drug ring
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Central Thailand News
Well we all knew that Prayuth was never serious about any of his declarations, and every one of his promises were fake, and the ones that he may have seemed serious about he never followed up on. So overall he was an absolutely terrible leader without a sincere bone in his body. And he may have moved Thailand backwards a decade or longer. -
One of the most wonderful aspects of living in this day and age is that giving birth is now a decision, it's a choice, it's not something that's mandated like it was in the past, and many many couples are simply saying NO! We are not going to have children, or we're only going to have one child. Raising children has become very expensive, the world's becoming incredibly complicated, and a lot of us are just saying why on earth would I want to bring a child into this world right now? Hopefully the birthrates will continue to decline worldwide, it will mean lower GDP, it will mean a loss of labor force, there will probably be a certain amount of pain, but overall it's good for the planet.

Avoiding sugar is always a good thing especially when it comes to the first meal of the day, allowing your sugar levels to spike in the morning is not smart. Can you perhaps provide us with a link to the particular brand that you're referring to? Inwouks sure buy some. I do recall that German brand I used to buy it sugar free, but I haven't seen the sugarless variety in many years. Perhaps that's a tough sell in Thailand?

Personal experience, these are actual quotes that I've received, and I have friends who have been pulled over for DUI and given a choice to do a test or come up with 30,000 baht on the spot. This is a fact of life in Thailand, your denial changes nothing. Frankly it's a bit like denying the existence of gravity.

Move Forward MP weeps during debate in parliament
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Thank you, unfortunately there is a percentage of the population these days that abhors truth and will do anything to deny and obfuscate reality with what they consider to be clever intellectualism. -
The big difference being that I have not been quoted in public on videotape as saying that I like them young, that's quite a difference that you don't seem to be taking into account one iota. Or have you conveniently forgotten? Revisionist history perhaps?

If it's a local bank it's a fairly simple process to resolve, a friend of mine recently lost his ATM card from a Hawaiian Bank and it was a 7 hour drive from the bank that he lost the card at to his home in Koh Samui. He tried his best to call them to make arrangements for them to ship it to him and even the manager insisted that he had to come back to the bank to pick up the card. This was about an 18-hour round trip with the ferry ride, and there was absolutely no way around it. Dealing with his bank was equally daunting. What can one say, except don't lose your card!

PM Prioritizes Higher Education and Innovation
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
This is totally fake news there's no question that the powers that be and the elite both want to keep the educational standards low here it helps when it comes to lower wages any protestations of the contrary are completely fake and all the years have been here I've never seen anything in the way of a sincere effort to improve the educational standards. Also how do you improve innovation when you're doing everything in your power to stifle curiosity? Students are not even allowed to question their teachers, so how do you establish innovation without curiosity? -
Typically the police will accept 20 or 30,000 baht in order to make a drunk driving offense disappear, so who knows what the real total was? Also the highway patrol absolutely refuses to patrol the highways, so they didn't catch anybody driving drunk, they just caught people at roadblocks which often times are quite easy to avoid.

Upward trajectory from what? Last year, the year before, the middle of covid, the period when the country was shut down? What exactly are we referring to here, and is this a reasonable comparison? Traditionally most areas have been sold out for Christmas and New Year's week nationwide, so is this really a significant factor to take into account?

It's gotten to the point where both extreme liberals and extreme conservatives are both pretty much different sides of the same coin. They're both equally toxic, they're both capable of extreme acts, and neither is really capable of running the country at this point.

Move Forward MP weeps during debate in parliament
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I totally get it, there are likely millions of people weeping right now over the fate of Thailand and the lack of progress as it relates to the future of this nation. The toxic regressive Army needs to be stopped, their reign of destruction needs to be brought to a close. The good of the people is never, ever a consideration for these goons.- 27 replies
