  1. Yes. Went to an institute for natural construction and permaculture. Will dig up the links. Very cool stuff.
  2. How many years have they spent in wolf colonies? Were they accepted by the wolves as one of their own? Can acceptance be only a one way street? I identify as them, but cannot live like them, cannot hunt like them, and cannot communicate with them. Though I do speak wolf jibberish in school. It seems to work.
  3. Glad to hear it is still going. 15 years ago there used to be a lot more jazz bars than there are these days, despite there being a surprising number of good jazz players here. We need more places like this.
  4. I think natural construction is the way to go in Thailand. Looked at many forms of it, and super Adobe seems very practical, less expensive and it is quite beautiful. You must compensate by building on stilts, and using wide roof structures, to avoid the brick being pounded by rains. But the result is gorgeous, with 20cm. deep bricks, and lovely window and door eaves. The possibilities are endless. We are going to do it in the near future. Thai brick is a horrific building material, with zero insulation value, and only serves stifling convention and the industry.
  5. Have you not heard of the new animal identities? This is really happening. And the school districts are being told to allow it. You cannot force a student to "speak human", if they identify as a wolf. How dysfunctional is that? If I did not know any better I would think it is a joke. There is a good documentary called "What is a woman?", by Matt Walsh, which explores some of this. When first told schools were encountering this, from Maine to Wisconsin, the thought was humorous, like Halloween year-round, dressing up, so-and-so thinking he or she is a zebra or giraffe. But when speaking with teachers, the hard reality hit me – kids are being allowed to suspend all reference to reality, integrate into their thinking not only the idea that a girl can become a boy or boy become a girl – and win at sports that way – but they can now become an animal, by will. https://amac.us/kids-identifying-as-animals/
  6. The problem with Bali, is sooner of later you have to deal with the lower third of the island. It is like Manhattan at rush hour. And the PI feels like one huge Tijuana to me, the food is atrocious, the air quality is horrendous, due to the sooty diesel they use, it gets far too many typhoons, and you always have to have eyes in the back of your head. I do like the people. Too bad about the ghetto feel of the place and the violent crime. I don't have to be concerned about that here. Thailand is like Beverly Hills compared to most of the PI, and there is very little crime committed on foreigners, it seems.
  7. In other words, we believe condemnation would increase the risk to Thailand. We believe that by not criticizing Russia's genocide against women and children, they will be nice to us. And morality does not factor into the equation, as the administration is controlled by the army here. Enough said.
  8. It is one thing to have a difficulty accepting a child who is uncomfortable with his or her sexuality. It is quite another to beat that child senseless with a PVC tube. This useless creep (aren't most politicians?) needs to be locked up, where he can savor the joys of a real tube.
  9. Where did you find the mescaline? I would like to order some of the same.
  10. This is a good idea, and is already in effect throughout the world. Everyone knows how dangerous it is to hold a phone in one hand, and drive with the other hand, much less texting while driving. The real question is, will the police enforce the rule? Since they NEVER pull anyone over while driving, I rather doubt it.
  11. Many Indians here are Thai citizens, having come over as kids, and some have been here for generations. He is likely either a Thai now, or he has a work permit, to be able to hire employees, report a crime, etc.
  12. I had the tint completely removed from the windshield on our car. It came new with 30%, on the windshield! That is crazy dangerous. I could barely see at night. Managed to get completely clear nano ceramic film in the US, and brought it back here to install. Eliminated a lot of heat and UV, without limiting any visibility. I was afraid of taking out pedestrians, as the visibility was so poor before. Could be a reckless truck driver. Could be the young man's fault. A lot of truckers make these wide u-turns, while you are moving towards them at high speed, just assuming you will be able to slow down. Very reckless. Elsewhere in the world they would pay high fines for that. Here? The highway patrol refuses to patrol the highways, so it is likely nobody has ever been charged with reckless driving. Ever. And a lot of fools with expensive cars drive at 150kph, at night, with limited visibility. They are just asking for a catastrophe.
  13. Juvenile delinquents, dressed up as men, in a uniform, trying to pretend to be adults.
  14. I guess things are more progressive in the UK, where very few men are emasculated. In the US, 99% of my friends "date the old fashioned way". Even 20 years ago, when I was dating back there, I can only recall one women out of dozens, who offered to go Dutch, much less pay for a meal.
  15. And which one is more honest? I consider a deal for sex, for a defined amount of money to be infinitely more honest, than take me out to dinner a few times, buy me some gifts, and maybe I will give you some. Who has more integrity? I would say a Thai freelancer is infinitely more honest and has more honor.
  16. Put FM Don on the job. He is such a master negotiator. He can just ask Vlad, please, please can you just stop this war? Pretty please.
  17. Yes, though I avoid using that term, but if you are going to use that term, at least apply it to most politicians, all lobbyists, most corporate, insurance, defense industry, and banking executives, and alot of men.
  18. That is incredibly amusing. As if. Millions of women in the UK are paid with gifts, favors, dinners, prizes, apartments, cars and dental bills.
  19. Hopefully, fermented sauce is not all he will be dodging soon. The people need to show their extreme dissatisfaction with this man, as much as they possibly can. Kudos to them. And why are most of them still wearing a mask outdoors?
  20. We are power hungry, and our dictator is bloodthirsty. Thank you for not condemning our mass slaughter of women and children. We are grateful for your cooperation. Laz.
  21. Sounds like much ado over nothing, which is about 98% of the content of social media, which I consider to be one of the most destructive forces in contemporary society and culture. Social media is 99% toxic, and 1% positive.
  22. It is a massive industry in the US. It is labeled a donation. We are talking about millions of women. And they call themselves civilians.
  23. If the people knew the likely extent of the stink, flith and corruption, they would likely revolt. It is probably into the tens or hundreds of billions. They just don't know and since there is no investigative reporting here, no trustworthy anti corruption agency, and no watchdog on accounting, it will likely not be revealed. At least while the army maintains power. One can only hope later these guys will face charges at the Hague and are forced into exile.
  24. There have been very few mass shootings here, relatively speaking. So, is it a big problem, just yet? I do agree with urgent reform needed for the police force, the lax gun laws, the mental health issues, with some, and a shortage of psychiatrists. Also, a major problem is the lack of willingness to have one's life examined, and a stubborn refusal to look within for the source of the problem. And lastly, the horrific issue of trying to saving face, and the staggering weakness this creates.
  25. Good advice as usual from the Spark!
