Calm would be a better description than decent. At this time of year all the beaches are going to have waves, check the tide charts to find out when they will be lower. Often in the earlier part of the day. By the way my kids at 3 had no trouble playing just into the water with waves, in fact they loved it..

Thailand reopening: 100k arrivals, "8 million arriving in 2022", minister
marin replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Put up or shut up. Sick of this talk. Why not make it 18,000,00 if you are going to pull a number out of your A&&? -
Travelling in Thailand as unvaccinated resident
marin replied to Lizzy Duang's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
It seems quite clear the only advice you seek is this "Yup you can go anywhere". This simply is not the case. The one jab was in the past for Astra only. You will encounter problems all the way around. The Thai are very concerned over the vaccinations and masks, its that simple. -
Can you even get up and walk with that two ton chip on your shoulders? Nice rant out of left field.

Vaccine required to enter Thailand or not?
marin replied to rosiepose's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
It is when you get vaccinated. Until you are vaccinated you are on the outside looking in. -
I never wear a mask in my car. When its my wife and I neither of us wear a mask. I have not heard of this ever being enforced.

Wow, you will never make it here. I give you 3 months here max. What a horrible thing to say. Karma, you are the one who should be thinking about it.

A "pinto" in Thai. But not used to take to the market in Asia. It would be packed at home.. Rice in the big pot, then veg, soup, and curries individually in the others. A unique style I must say. One of a kind. -
You lost credibility when you posted Dr. Anutin. He is an engineer not a doctor, although he likes to dress up as one.

marin replied to cdemundo's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
Yes they do... I had both my injections on a Saturday. Mid June and early August AZ, the wife had both on a Saturday at a different location. Last Saturday Oct 9th right at 700,000 doses were done. -

I am pretty sure the will have the info in the national computer base. When you go for you next simply check and ask them to update to include both dates. -

I think you best not listen to your wife, or stop listening to village gossip. This comment is just silly. -

Next university semester? When in-person classes restart?
marin replied to ThLT's topic in Teaching in Thailand Forum
This refers to schools, such as pratom and mattayom but it seems the universities are up in the air.. Perhaps November for some of the universities that are still on the Thai schedule, but there have been no provisions to inoculate the students as of today. The universities that are on the western calendar seem to be shooting for Jan. Chula I know is on the western schedule. Most have had no in class learning since March. -
What would be the purpose of replying to an OP like this? You have your mind set that you dont like Thai food, but at the same time you are trying to push those feelings onto others. Perhaps you would be better off somewhere else. I do prefer Mexican to Thai, and simply make a decent version here. Some rant dude..

marin replied to Millian's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
That would be no flooding on the highways as far as Korat. Too late to edit.
