  1. It doesn't really matter, to most people. I'm offering a possible reason. It's not a p$#sing competition. No need to worry your little head about it as I've provided a pdf for all to see.
  2. I'm in UK right now. Maybe a VPN issue. I opened the page with no issues.
  3. I can open it. Download a pdf and read it. You can't. There is obviously something amiss at your end. There was an article on here not long ago about AI being left wing. Maybe your devices are averse to opening links that don't only subscribe to left wing views. Man and machine in perfect harmony.
  4. Oh dear. Seeing as you're having a tech issue, I've got a pdf for you. You need to click the little download button. Future of state pension triple lock guarantee is 'turning into a game of pensions poker’ - Law & Regulation - Pensions Exper.PDF
  5. No it isn't. Something wrong with your browser.
  6. I agree. Posting a link to a news article. https://www.pensions-expert.com/Law-Regulation/Future-of-state-pension-triple-lock-guarantee-is-turning-into-a-game-of-pensions-poker?ct=true
  7. It's a very well known English saying. Credited to John Selden's Table-Talk (c. 1654) You appear to be the only one struggling with it. You need try harder.
  8. Do as I say, not as I do, he told everyone.????????????????
  9. No need. I guess you keep it to hand for after eating pizza. ????????????
  10. I will. All the lovely Isaan food I'll be eating.
  11. That's not showing all of them. At a quick glance, Buriram is missing. Probably more.
  12. Lots of Isaan people out in their cars, on motorbikes, going into 7/11, Makro, BigC. The mall. You bought a pizza. I guess there were lots of Isaan people buying too. A shop isn't going to stay trading by selling a pizza to an expat every now and then. Your story and outlook has been fun to read. Sadly, it's now been shown to be fiction.
  13. Do you actually know how many BigC and Makro there are in Isaan? Add to that the Tesco stores, CP stores? Just because you live far from a BigC or Makro does not mean they don't exist and make a killing from the Isaan people. Are you aware how big Isaan is? It's huge. The largest region of Thailand. Take that trip of 150kms and find out for yourself. If there are no Isaan people in there spending money and there is only 2kgs of chicken, take a photo and post it on here. I will then apologise for doubting your figures and beliefs. You'll know I'm right the minute you turn up and see the masses in their pick up trucks and on their motorbikes. Yes it's true. Isaan people motor vehicles.
  14. I've called Isaan, real Isaan, my home since 1998. There are many Makro,BigC and markets that stock everyday. If they didn't they wouldn't make money and would close. Thais grow rice, if you haven't noticed. That's why they eat it. It's a staple of their diet. Saying they can't afford it is laughable. If anything, the poorest of Isaan people eat only rice, likely with a bit of homemade nam prik for added flavor. You are clearly basing your assessments on a tiny piece of Isaan where you live. I doubt you've been out of the village. Go and look for yourself in Makro or BigC or the local markets. It's you that needs to get out of your bubble.
  15. So, who depletes the daily stocks of meat, veg, fruit, etc at the markets, in BigC and Makro across Isaan? Thais eat rice for the same reason Brits eat potatoes. It the national carb crop and has been for centuries. Even rich Thais eat rice.
  16. Our home is in Isaan. You wouldn't like the food.
  17. Your article talks about KhonKaen. That's a big city. It is an article about " Thai food". Not Isaan food. You've already pointed out certain areas have more choice. I agree. In my experience of living in Issan; Korat, MSK, Buriram, Surin, KhonKean, Kalasin, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Roiet, Sissaket all have great markets, both night and day. All places have Makro and BigC. Some have Robinson with Tops. Your 95% and use of the word " most" are inverted. I don’t remember seeing the mass deaths from diet or boredom. Maybe you can show evidence. Really. If you truly believe what you say, move. Simple.
  18. He doesn't have either. That's why he married a silly Thai woman to think for him.
  19. It would certainly take one to know one. What is surprising is you and your wife have such a low, misinformed, opinion of everyone from the largest region of Thailand, yet you appear to have taken the trouble to get to know them all so well.
  20. A post you've totally contradicted in your next post.
  21. Finally. Thanks for acknowledging.
  22. Your screen certainly did not say Isaan Food when you chose to quote me and question my comment and continued to do so. As I explained above.
  23. You quoted this comment of mine, part of a conversation with another poster about chicken marinades. I wrote: "Really? Jerk and Isaan are the same? Greek and French is the same? Cajun and Chinese is the same? No need for more. Point made". Your reply " What are you talking about? Bbq pork is bbq pork. Satay is satay." As you can see, the subject you joined in on was chicken marinades in Thailand and around the world.
  24. The subject is marinades from around Thailand and the world. Once again, you get it wrong.
  25. That is the most uneducated, funny really, comment I've seen for a long time. I won't bother listing the myriad of different chicken marinades. I gave up teaching a few years ago. Educate yourself. Have a little "Google" of chicken marinades.
