  1. I talked to my daughter on Skype ( no she's in Scotland not Dubai ) and she had seen a report on the protests in which Suthep was waving his arms, strutting and all but foaming at the mouth.

He's doing the protest movement no favours but since he's appointed himself the leader who can reel him in now ?

I know that's a dangerous question to ask.

Exactly, I saw the same on an EU news, he acts and sound exactly like Hitler in the pre-war period in Germany, waving with the arms, shouting until foam comes out of his mouth.

He is a very dangerous guy, and believe me, not only for Thai and we foreigners, but for the entire democratic world.

Please all supporters, open your eyes, before it's too late.

Are you also warning us of the Shins with their criminal and human rights abuses records? Suthep is not dangerous, he is trying to get rid of a very dirty and corrupt family. Viva democracy. Have a look at my signature.

Meanwhile Thailand slipped from 84 to 102 on the global corruption index within 1 year. let's stick to the point. The point is that the Shins are destroying this country and Suthep has found many who agree with him, including me.

    Who? Me?

  2. Suthep and his yellow thugs are just low level criminals. Animals. Cowards. How can the Dems back people who use a 10yr old child in their fight against an elected government? It is just disgusting. All those who support these protests and their leaders are out of their mind. Attacking a child is just insane. Sent from my HTC One using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

Suthep sarcastically said....which translates into Suthep is threatening according to Red Khaosod. Which PT condemns...

Isn't he saying that if the mother has to leave she will take her son? Is this threatening or something a good mother would do? By the way, he has already apologized for this last night.

    Bunch of drama queens here.

Any given day he attracts tens of thousands of people. Even a few hundred thousand during the weekend. And a million during holidays or special celebrations.

  4. well, i will document the guy with decibel meter and his actions with my new Sony action camera and will tell him that i will show that video to my lawyer - which i can - as i believe they have no legal right to do that.

First of all, they have to give you a document stating the decibel of your bike and they have to fine you too if it is illegal! As one poster stated, they guy did not even showed him the db meter! and it is not sure if the db meter was on!

and lets see what will happen. Most probably the decibel meter guy will leave with db meter between his legs!

    You are joking right?

no, i am not and i will try my best to get in.

I understand that you will try your best to get in but are you going to challenge them legally (to the extent of involving a lawyer) too when they won't allow you to enter? I thought that that's what I understood from your post.

    Therefore my earlier comment.

  6. Idiot.

What's he going to do attack voters and place fear into the community?

If he doesn't want to partake in the election that is up to him but don't start trying to instil fear into everyone else.

Sure. Let's change nothing and have another election because everything was going well in Thaksin controlled Thailand... Removing a few more checks and balances and everything should be good to go for another 4 years.

This document supposed to be coming from the DOJ.

Agreement is signed but Thai Foreign Ministry is denying it made payments. Maybe somebody else made payments on their behalf?

That document is from the FARA website - if I understand it correctly - and not the DoJ, it really doesn't imply that the Embassy has acted on anything, more so hearsay than anything else from Davenport McKesson, which if you have a look at the link I posted earlier it paints a less than flattering picture of them. Check their website out as well, hardly any information about exactly who they are. Which, for a supposed lobbyist firm, is a bit strange.

I'd be more inclined to believe it if there was a signed document from the Ambassador supporting the above assertions from Davenport McKesson.

Since the Thai Foreign Minister is not denying the agreement but says no payments were made by them, I don't know if I agree with you.

  8. Foreign Ministry denies report of hiring a US lobby firm

    The Nation

BANGKOK: -- Foreign Ministry has denied report that Foreign Minister Surapong Tohvichakchaikul hired a US firm to lobby Washington to build a naval base in Thailand.

In its statement issued yesterday, the ministry reiterated that neither the ministry nor the minister paid US$20,000 to Davenport Mckesson to lobby for the Thai government and never got involved with the company.

The ministry requested Thai Embassy in Washington to seek cooperation with the US authorities to examine into the company as there were some US organisations that were claimed to be clients of the company. They however denied the reports.

According to Fara online, the Yingluck government has paid US$20,000 to a US firm to lobby Washington to build a naval base in Thailand.

The document was posted on the Facebook page of Nadaprapai Sucharitkul. According to a copy of the document purportedly from the US Department of Justice, the Thai government hired Davenport Mckesson Corporation to lobby the US Department of Defence to build a naval air defence base in Thailand.

The US lobbyist was also hired to lobby for US military assistance in establshign a safe harbor zone around Thailands waters.

The document said the US firm would start representing the Thai government on the lobbying on October 31 this year.

"It was understood by the parties on the date of 10/31/2013, that the government of Thailand, via telephonic correspondence from its Embassy in Washington,DC would be represented by Davenport McKesson Corporation, the corporation would be entitled to upfront fees of $20,000.00USD. Davenport McKesson Corporation in turn agreed to represent the country on the following matters; Davenport McKesson Corporation agreed to provide lobbying services for the TheKingdom of Thailand inside the United States Congress and make certain lobbying efforts inside the Department of Defense, The Kingdom of Thailand is seeking to have the United States Department of Defense build a Nava lAir Defense Base in the Country, also thec ountry of Thailand seeks military assistance in establishing a safe harbor zone around its waters. Davenport McKesson Corporationa lso seeks to assis thecountry in establishing more trade representation centers in the United States," the document said.

The PDF file of the copy of the document could be found be found at http://www.fara.gov/docs/6199-Exhibit-AB-20131122-1.pdf.

So the US Department of justice said that the Thai Govt hires US firm to lobby US govt to set up naval base in Thailand and Thaksin's cousin Surapong says that it isn't true (although there are documents proving him wrong).

    Somebody must be lying.

I don't think the DoJ is saying anything about this; FARA is simply a registration of an agency's intentions to deal with political details on behalf of a foreign entity..

This document supposed to be coming from the DOJ which explains "The Agreement".

Agreement is signed but Thai Foreign Ministry is denying it made payments. Maybe somebody else made payments on their behalf?

If Yingluck or Surapong have signed this agreement without having parliamentary approval somebody is going to be in trouble (regardless of payments being made by the signing party).

Remember they wanted to change this law. Removing checks and balances to sign without needing approval.

  10. Her next mission is trying to make the public believe she cares about them and listens to them until the next elections. Of course nothing is going to change, why would Yingluck (Thaksin) want to change anything if they have a good chance to win the next election.

Same as with the reconciliation forums. Make a big scene out of it with Blair etc and then go to Lop Buri for a few days and bang!!!!!!! Amnesty bill!!!!!

  11. Oh wait ... maybe Abhisit isn't guilty. He's certainly not guilty in a personal capacity (which is how he's been charged) as everything that he did was in an official capacity.

Correct. One one can charge him on a personal ground. The question is, did he made a wrong decision by ordering the use of live bullets? I reckon Rubber bullets should be fine at that time, but that is just my opinion..

Were you there? Facing men in black snipers, molotov cocktails, sling shots, and a rioting mob of arsonists?

Have you ever been in a situation like that?

Were you? Taking a page from your previous comments, "Men in black" snipers have not been tried or convicted yet. Neither is there any concrete evidence as to their affiliation. Just a lot of talk and rumours. If you keep repeating the same thing again and again, eventually in your mind it becomes fact.

It looks like the guilt of the Dems have to be determined by due judicial process, but the guilt of others would suffice by rumours.

But, like all Democrat and Yellow Shirt apologists and sympathizers - don't let truth and facts get in the way.

There are dozens of articles and youtube movies showing armed MIB. You can easily find them if you are interested. Even Nick Nostitz has confirmed that he has met them personally.

The red shirt leaders, although the opposite can be proven, keep on saying that the MIB don't exist.

    Ok just one......

  12. if Thaskin got 2 years jail terms because his wife did buy some land in Ratchada, wonder how many century

Abhisit will get for the murder of 90 protester?

.... oh wait the victims were poor farmer!

More nonsense and inaccurate at that.

Thaksin was indeed convicted and chose to flee and become a criminal fugitive rather than appeal and fight through the courts, Why do you think that was? He also chooses to be a fugitive from outstanding serious criminal charges rather than face them in court. Why do you think he does this?

Abhisit has not been tried and convicted yet, but you presume guilty without knowing any evidence, Apart from the Thaksin led propaganda you digest of course.

Not all of the 90 deaths were protesters. The sad loss of life included soldiers and law abiding citizens caught in cross fire or maybe targeted by the mysterious men in black. They certainly weren't all poor farmers were they? Japanese, Italian journalists, nurse - ring any bells for you?

But, like all PTP apologists and sympathizers - don't let truth and facts get in the way.

"outstanding serious criminal charges" - Care to enlighten us why you think a conflict of interest on the purchase of some land in Bangkok being sold by an organisation that was not part of the Government should be regarded as such?

Maybe Thaksin thought he would be jailed immediately for two years if he stayed around whereas a certain Sondhi is still walking around despite being bailed 5/6 times, the last time over a 20 year year sentence for corruption which more closely matches your description of "outstanding serious criminal charges". Do you not think that Thaksin has a certain right to wonder about "double standards" and that he might be treated differently by the courts at the time.

But don't let truth or facts get in your way, will you?

Do you not think that Thaksin has a certain right to wonder about "double standards" and that he might be treated differently by the courts at the time.

You are making this statement in this thread?? Amazing hypocrisy.

  13. Will they trot out the much revered video of Khun Abhisit saying "Kill me some reds"? After all, that is the basis for 48% of the citizens thinking that it happened.

I hope he is punished for the 300 dead reds that were dumped out at sea in that rusty shipping container. Must be true cos Mr.A and Mr.T said so.

Don't forget the Ranong (?) skeletons.

Deflecting from the thread, are we?

Ooh. The forum Police is back coffee1.gif .

He had to be charged as an individual otherwise Tharit from the DSI couldn't charge him..In other words, Thaksin told Tharit to fabricate the charges and Tharit obeyed to his master.

I believe you know that but I just wanted to let others understand what Thaksin is doing.

  15. NOT surprising Suthep asking for a postponement, and it won't be the last I suspect, but did he not say he would hand himself in after his last "final push".

But credit for Mr A. fronting court, If he gave the ok on the use of LIVE fire to retake area's occupied by protesters then he must accept the charge and defend it if he can.

The DSI charged Abhisit and Suthep as individuals with premeditated murder.

  16. Now I am going to be punished with my stock bike because of all the hooligans with their loud exhausts racing through the park.....

    Not fair!!

Ohh, I just read that they will do a DB test! Good, I should be OK with my TIS approved exhaust. thumbsup.gif

  17. hahahahaha, I am waiting for him to cut off his head as promised, he really does suffer foot and mouth disease or should I say foot in mouth disease, quick. wheres the ear medicine...........................

    Yes me too!!

No bill = No Thaksin so Chalerm can be beheaded!

Addressing a red-shirt rally in Udon Thani on Friday, Mr Chalerm defended his reconciliation bill which he hopes will be instrumental in bringing the deposed premier home.

"If I fail [to bring Thaksin home] I'll accept sole responsibility. You can behead me," he told the gathering.
