Can Europe’s downfall be attributed to “white guilt”?
connda replied to hotsun's topic in Political Soapbox
It's white Europeans to blame. Poor misunderstood man. And don't insinuate anything different or the French police will throw you in jail. "Hummm, then you wonder why France has become a second-world descending into third-world s***-hole." Macron for President! Liberté, égalité, fraternité -

Shocking Incident in Jomtien: Man Chases Tourist, with Large Knife

I remember in 2013 when taxi driver, Chidchai Utmacha, hacked American Troy Lee Pilkington to death with a machete over a 50 THB fare. Considering TIT, dude is probably back in Bangkok driving taxi. Media never follows up on these things. My guess is that whoever was wielding that machete and chasing the farang had murder on their mind. -
My wife got two of our local monks disrobed. A abbot for using temples funds in a romance scam, and another monk for using meth (Yaba). She got the police involved to clean things up. Needless to say the temple was going to s**t. Now have a new monk who will become abbot after the Rain Retreats this year. My wife and a a group of laity manage the books and provide receipts and audits, and the new monk is in the process of renovating the temple and has just done a marvelous job. These other types of monks? Articles like this one are just the tip of the iceberg. The events at our temple got no press nor was it wanted. It's an embarrassment and reflects terribly on Buddhism in general.

Can Europe’s downfall be attributed to “white guilt”?
connda replied to hotsun's topic in Political Soapbox
What a laugh. I spent 8 years in the military and it had nothing to do with "protecting the women and cowards" (I see you hold your home country citizens in high regard) in order to keep them safe. It had everything to do with projecting power into far-off lands nowhere near my home country's borders in order to destabilize those nations who wouldn't willingly give up their resources and to generally sow chaos in order to further my own country's "national interests" which were part and parcel the interests of Western national and multi-national corporations as well as the national interests of a sub-set of protected "allies." And in those countries who failed to bend a knee? Turn them into free-fire zones and kill anything that moves in the name of DemocracyTM, LibertyTM, FreedomTM, and The American WayTM . What I got out of 8 years in the military was an education in "How The World Actually Works." Quotes by US Secretary of State and National Security Advisor - Henry A. Kissinger "To be an enemy of America can be dangerous, but to be a friend is fatal." "Who controls the food supply controls the people; who controls the energy can control whole continents; who controls money can control the world." "Depopulation should be the highest priority of foreign policy towards the third world, because the US economy will require large and increasing amounts of minerals from abroad, especially from less developed countries." "America has no permanent friends or enemies, only interests." "Military men are just dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy." 👆 👆 👆👆 👆👆 👆 👆 Here's the reality of the esteemed (psychopathic) leaders you served under. "Protecting women!" That's hysterical. Dream on... -
Can Europe’s downfall be attributed to “white guilt”?

Can Europe’s downfall be attributed to “white guilt” No. It can be attributed to the class of European Elites who seek to destroy Europe's and individual European nation's national identities and turn the entire region into a semi-feudal second-world hell-hole. Ordo ab Chao - Order Out of Chaos France - Mission accomplished. Germany - Mission nearly accomplished. UK - Mission nearly accomplished. Italy - "Wait a minute!" Hungary - "We ain't playing that game." USA - "We think you may want to rethink you anti-Democratic, anti-Free Speech, pro-Open Borders Migrant's First / Citizens Last policies. No? Ok - well enjoy your 25% tariffs. And LNG prices are going to double. And how's that war in Ukraine. Wanna keep at it? Cool, you're on your own but we're happy to sell you weapons." -
Not sure where the Thai Rail system is in relationship to Phuket, but you could send your stuff to Hua Hin if you can find a rail terminal in your location. Other option. Hire a van and a driver in Phuket.

The Unwavering Support for Hamas: A Moral Blind Spot

The Middle East in one easy lesson: Israel has the ear of Western main-stream media, so therefore, whatever they say is true is true. Palestinians and Levant Arabs don't have the ear of Western main-stream media, so therefore, whatever they say is true is false. -
Unforgivable war crimes committed by Russia on the battlefield

Heck, I've got 206 "Ignored" users as of last count. I like the echo chamber of those who are rational and capable of analytical, informed thought as opposed to those on my "Ignore" who generally melt down into a mass of name-calling goo and just keep repeating the same slogans they hear on main-stream news over and over again - which is why they are on my "Ignore" list - I already know what they have to say. The word order may change but they are generally challenged to spew more than a couple of sentences and usually those are just to ridicule and name-call and make ad-hominid attacks. 👈 That's all they got...so 👉 It's not worth reading. So I don't. @frank83628 You actually waste your time to scan their screed? You're a better man than I. Kudos. -
Yeah, the people I walked with in Vietnam anti-war protests are now raging pro-war maniacs. Pro-war in Russia. Pro-war in China. Pro-war in the Middle East. Pro-war everywhere. I don't know who these people are now. As far as war goes, I'm still the same person I was back then even though I'm a US veteran. The Soviet/US era was dangerous. But the USSR dissolved and NATO should have dissolved with it. Peace should have reined. But? Peace isn't good for the Military Industrial Complex and "Defense" stocks. Maybe my age group is making money hand-over-fist in US "Defense" stocks so that makes them pro-war. Cha-Ching!

You don't even have to read the book. Read the bibliography and citations. "Unprovoked." Uh-huh. https://www.amazon.com/Provoked-Washington-Started-Catastrophe-Ukraine/dp/1733647376

I'm pretty sure these low-information anti-Russian pro-war conduits don't do much in the way of reading. They watch main-stream TV and parrot the sound bites of the Biden Administration and State Department saying "Unprovoked" over and over and over again. That repetitive sloganism is propaganda. The weakest minds grasp on and run with it. One can understand what is going on by reading what comes out of the Council of Foreign Relations and think-tanks like RAND. Example: "Providing lethal aid to Ukraine would exploit Russia’s greatest point of external vulnerability. But any increase in U.S. military arms and advice to Ukraine would need to be carefully calibrated to increase the costs to Russia of sustaining its existing commitment without provoking a much wider conflict in which Russia, by reason of proximity, would have significant advantages." - Overextending and Unbalancing Russia, Apr 2019, RAND Research Brief https://www.rand.org/pubs/research_briefs/RB10014.html Unprovoked. Check out the date. Apr 2019. The US foreign policy agenda for close to 20 years has been the strategic overthrow and break-up of Russia. Geo-political analysts know it. Russia knows it. It's not a secret. And from 2014 onward Ukraine was a wedge to be used in the attempted break-up of Russia. Other RAND ideas which were implemented using Ukraine as the US' proxy instead to NATO troops. And more..... Those screaming "Unprovoked" and other anti-Russian tropes should try reading the RAND paper. And then think: If Russia planned these same measures against the US, how would the US react. "Unprovoked?" Get real. Think tanks like RAND are the basis on which of US foreign policy is developed and implemented. However, I actually believe this paper may be beyond their reading level and attention span although it's marginally high school level reading at best. Those screaming anti-Russian hatred the loudest aren't the sharpest tacks in the box. But they do make excellent useful idiots, i.e., tools.

Probably being is that as you get older your gut doesn't work as well so supplementation almost becomes a necessity. Doesn't have to be daily though. I take a multivitamin with minerals and a B complex every two or three days. Also take a B12 shot once a month. Other than then try to eat a balance diet.

Me too.

That's funny. Nice one!

No they won't if the US puts an end to it. If the US and Russia say it's over, it's over.

Nor do I. Zelinsky! Works for me.

I nominate steven100 to receive the esteemed Darwin Award. Hopefully he'd cash it in before hitting the nuclear button. But interesting to know that steven100 is a proponent of the mass genocide of as many Russians as possible. That's how I define "hatred" in my dictionary. He's so full of hatred for Russians that he'd destroy the entire planet just to mass exterminate Russians. That's just sad. steve100 you are a tragically sad human being.

Sort of like the flu disappeared when Covid showed up. Same same.

Exclude the side winning? Problematic. Exclude the side losing? No big deal.
