Actually, she plead out to a lesser charge which was a misdemeanor and not a felony. From Wikipedia: On June 21, 2019, a jury indicted Cardi B on 14 charges, including two counts of felony assault with intent to cause serious physical injury, stemming from the incident.[351][352] She was arraigned on June 25, 2019, and pleaded not guilty on all charges.[353] On September 15, 2022, she plead guilty to third-degree assault and second-degree reckless endangerment, resulting in a sentence of 15 days of community service.[

Cafe bomb in St Petersburg kills Russian military blogger
Hanuman2547 replied to webfact's topic in World News
He reported favorably in support of the war effort by Russian forces. He was at times critical of how the Russian Army operated but was always pro=Putin and in favor of the war. Who or what organization decided to remove him is yet to be determined as there are quite a few possibilities. -

Yes, a very good chance of that happening. Most likely by a bullet though. -
Thailand Reverses Visa Policy for Tourists From 60 Countries
Hanuman2547 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
The 45 day visa exemption was nice while it lasted. Now back to the regular 30 day visa exemption. It would be great if Thailand were to do this same program again later this year. Just have to wait and see. It's their country, they can do as they like. -
It was a good program while it lasted. Maybe someday it will be back again. A friend of mine already booked his flights here for 45 days from mid-December to the end of January. He will probably take a trip out of Thailand for a week or so and then return before leaving the end of January. Sure the Thai government will make money exiting and then returning but they will miss out on the money he would have spent if he didn't have to leave.

True. US National Parks do not charge non-citizens higher fees. They also DO NOT charge non-residents higher fees. Everyone pays the same except for senior citizens aged 62 and over. They pay a reduced rate regardless of where you are from, what nationality you have, or where you live. You only have to be aged 62 or over.

Thai Airways accused of favouring foreign passengers over Thais
Hanuman2547 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I still fly Thai when I have to domestically. However, this topic was about international flights. Would I fly Thai Internationally again? Maybe. Usually the routing isn't as convenient and the airfare is higher than their competitors. -
Thai Airways accused of favouring foreign passengers over Thais

Thai Airways definitely has some financial issues that have been a problem for quite some time. Safety issues have also been called into question and I believe some countries have not allowed them to land in their country. -
Thai Airways accused of favouring foreign passengers over Thais
Hanuman2547 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It's been my experience that Thai Airways tends to give better service to non-Thais over the years when I flew Thai. I saw a lot of that back in the 80's and 90's. Also heard a number of Thais complain about this as well. Didn't matter if it was business or economy class. Now I tend to stay away from Thai Airways as their fares are always more expensive than their competitors and the routing is never that convenient. -
"no more coup after the May 14 general election" Other than the May 14 part, you know how many times I have heard this over the last 40 years? I just don't see this happening if past history is anything to go on.

Passport needed for travel around Thailand?
Hanuman2547 replied to ChomDo's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
In the scenario the OP outlined, I would definitely carry/take my passport with me. I'd also bring photocopies of the passport and relevant pages just in case. -

Pattaya Dolphins Football Club Renamed to Pattaya United

They have two Brazilians, and one player from Argentina. There is one luk krung player but he is listed as Thai nationality. I have no idea what kind of fan base or crowds that attend their matches. The stadium they play at only hold about 5800.
