Trump keen to blame diversity and inclusion for Washington DC crash
simple1 replied to bannork's topic in Political Soapbox
Nearly every time trump opens his mouth he uses his voice for weaponisation of politics, an issue he constantly whined and lied about when he was out of power. The man is the incarnation of the meaning of "despicable"- 119 replies

Ignorance is bliss eh? The European Union is the largest development donor in the world. Together, EU countries provided over €98 billion in development and humanitarian funding in 2022. This means Team Europe provides almost half - 43% - of all funding globally.

Other people would say Milley was brave by calling out trump's rhetoric in order to reduce tensions. trump often treads a very fine wire putting the US at risk. In any case I'm sure they would take legal action if they really though Milley is a traitor, but as usual with MAGA just nasty personal attacks based upon political differences. IMO it's trump who is the bullying coward.

I have posted in the Country Australia topic a number of occasions and from time to time in Thai related issues. . Regards my interest in USA, it's currently the most powerful country in the world. Unfortunately has influence globally including supporting a number of right of centre "leaders" by trump & co. Some politicians in Oz support him. Personally I loath MAGA supporters & the trump influence as very negative for Oz and globally. However, to be brief it's none of your business why i post anti trump content, don't like it, ignore.

Not so sure ex military officers are paid well enough for 24 security. However, trump is most definitely wealthy enough to pay for his and family security. Never did when family were on business trips during first Administration or in the US, nor will he do do this time around. Also trump begs MAGA world to pay for this legal costs - has trump ever dipped into his own funds for legal costs incurred due to his actions whilst President or ex President?

Teenage Brit Involved in Fatal Road Collision in Pattaya

More likely his parents will pay compo, negotiated by police, to the family - no jail time. -
Yet more ugly spiteful action by trump world with plenty more coming to make "MAGA" meaningless. Political observers from both sides of the aisle didn’t hold back unloading on President Donald Trump’s decision to revoke former Gen. Mark Milley’s government-funded security detail, which newly minted Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was poised to announce he is “immediately pulling,” according to media reports. ‘Wake up America:’ Trump slammed over ‘shameful’ decision to revoke top general’s security

It's now been clarified in the media, as posted above, that two deportee flights a week were agreed between the US and Colombia. The issue which created the upset was trump coming into power and the deportees then being handcuffed. The Colombian President took offence to the change in process which has now been resolved. One assumes that deportees are no longer hand cuffed so a "win" for Colombia, not for the US.
-
The Columbian President complained about the way the deportees were treated. In addition the US had not asked permission to return the people, nor for landing rights for the deportees no surprise whatsoever landing was denied. The Columbian President actually made the Presidential plane available for the deportees which I assume would have won her political points. If trump asked any favours from Columbia in the future he wouldn't get much of a welcome mat; bullies are disliked, except in the one way street of MAGA world.

It would of been better to have an agreement in place before unauthorised flight. When did the Dems enacted an "open door" / mass migration policy - facts, not propaganda. Practically since his first week in office, President Joe Biden has faced repeated criticisms from Republicans and some Democrats that his border policy amounts to “open borders.” This criticism is not simply inaccurate: it is unhinged from reality in a way that distinguishes itself from normal political hyperbole. Indeed, U.S. immigration policy is effectively closed borders, and Biden’s immigration policies and goals are largely the same as those of President Donald Trump. https://www.cato.org/blog/bidens-border-policy-not-open-borders

Greenland is already under US protection by way of NATO's article 5.
-
Under NATO agreement, China grabbing Greenland will trigger war. Personally I cannot see any advantage to PRC to trigger such destablisation. Also highly unlikely Denmark will cede Greenland to USA. for what purpose would Denmark give up future wealth from Greenland's resources?

Especially firing by email which is a very low act.
