You can discuss up and down, they clearly show bank note rates are applied for the calculator. And for that the result is "correct". Whether this is a clever move or whether it should be more flexible is another question. Or simply look at the exchange rate table of Bangkok Bank and do the math your own. Thai Bank TT rates are always worse than currency market rates that you can check e.g. at xe.com And then still: simple DKK*rate can not give the accurate result overall. Fees from sending bank can't be known easily. Fees deducted after conversion from Bangkok Bank are 0.25%, min 250, max 500 Baht, One of the advantages of WISE, you clearly see what you will get (example above).

Ok, I could have guessed. They spell themselves Srinagarind (not much to any rule). Huge complex. was there a few times when the granddaughter was hospitalized.

Excuse my ignorance: but where/what is "Singradgrad"?

SCB Easy does not require/have access to my contacts. Never requested. That "easy" Mr. Smart. Why they request location? I will give it a try with disabling. ... And it works fine without location. If you were smart you would have a thousand ideas where your spam increase comes from. I am not here to study your list of apps. It's about SCB Easy (and maybe other Thai bank apps).

Clinic Tragedy! Woman Dies During Nasal Surgery Under Anesthesia
KhunBENQ replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
They are doing anesthesia in those glitzy shopping center clinics. Would I believe they have a qualified/experienced anesthetist on site? Anesthesia is not child's play.- 10 replies

Russian man found dead in meditation position in pool at house in Phuket

Underwater yoga. I never stop learning -
Both the website and the app are the worst/ugliest among the three that I use (SCB, Bangkok Bank, Kasikorn). On the app I hate their hysteric "security measures" like forbidding copy/paste, screenshots. I had to disable USB debugging to use it! But still a lazy move to save some cost for maintenance. RIP

Seems like. It's the first time that I stumble upon this name. There are numerous sites where you will rarely meet a foreigner. -

Can only give general advice: "don't put all eggs in one basket". Cash AND card. Better two cards in separate pockets/bags. One single ATM card (VISA? Mastercard?) can give bad surprise. I read that ATMs in Italy (still) only accept 4 digit PINs which should be OK for VISA and Mastercard credit/debit cards? If you have Dollar cash give him that. Buying Euro here will likely give you worse result/rate. But as a safeguard you might consider buying a small amount of Euro cash here like 300 Euro for a start (taxi, food etc.). Prepare for the worst (sending via Western Union in an emergency, very bad rate). Don't know whether it's true but I read that Italy is still cash centric (similar to here). So don't expect that a credit card will be accepted anywhere.

Can you explain what this "currency calculator" is? I usually just look at the exchange rate tables/charts and see DKK with very low fluctuation to the Baht. https://www.bangkokbank.com/en/Personal/Other-Services/View-Rates/Foreign-Exchange-Rates Yes, it looks like they show bank note rates?? As described above there is a serious issue caused by the Nordic national banks. As you want to do an electronic transfer(?) these rates mean nothing to you. TT rates are completely normal. DKK is about 5.01 to 5.05 Baht today. The bank note buying rate is 2.50!!!

E-Z Retirement Extension - Jomtien
KhunBENQ replied to Skeptic7's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Much more like other offices Jomtien crowds change with tourism season. Now approaching deepest off season, not many 30 day extensions. Snowbirds long gone. Other expats back to home country for summer holiday/ family visit. Report back in January. I remember very well the reports and pictures of the crowds hanging outside in the sun for hours. Even in the provinces it seems extraordinary quiet (read a thread about Phetchabun and remarks about other offices). -
WISE - Any Questions Asked
KhunBENQ replied to Neeranam's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
As above. It still seems true that higher amounts can only be transferred to SCB, Kasikorn and Bangkok Bank. Notice from WISE:
