    5% drop is very optimistic. Wouldn't be catastrophic. I remember the terrible 2014 which was much worse. It was a year when I started to think how much longer can you stay here. Just reassured myself: 2014 the worst drought in 50 years in the northeast. When I moved to Thailand in 2011 it was the biggest flood disaster in 50 or more years. Rain is so unreliable.

    Only concern: they might close down one or the other immigration office due to lack of foreigners. Khon Kaen likely not as it also is headquarter region 4(?). Before Phetachbun office opened a mate had to drive 200 km oneway to ? (forgot).

    That would explain the boiling sound... Never would I use this heater before being checked by a technician. As recommended: replace ASAP. Could then check the thing at a shop.

    Sometimes one can't believe how careless people are. If the oil pressure lamp at the car is on will they cover it with tape?

    This valve had been attached to the inlet of the heater? It is a 6kW heater. Quite powerful type. Was it recommend to have such a valve attached? I would think that the 6 kW heater needs all water pressure/flow available. From the debris can you check whether the filters were clogged? Why the safety breaker (ELCB) triggered is unclear to me but quite alarming. Potential hazard.

    Stupid question about facescan. Will it always be an additional authorization or could it be the only authorization and be used for less than 50k replacing SMS OTP? Would be nice!

    From using WISE: there are banks that limited incoming to 50k/transaction since a while. But just yesterday WISE showed this: So less than 1.5 mil to SCB. Up to 2 mil to Kasikorn and Bangkok Bank.

    I wonder how many posters with advice for the students come from a country where towns are cut in half by 90 km/h four lane highways? How many come from countries where "15 mph" is what you drive passing a school? How many tried to cross Sukhumvit in Pattaya running like a rabbit?

    That was a misunderstanding. Sure most private houses are single phase. What I mean is the lack of ground/earth (3rd wire) in many older houses. 2 pin plugs/sockets. Modern devices with 3 pin plugs connected via adapters etc

    Oh yes, it's a mess. I changed the resin on our Mazuma. Wish I knew before what to expect and might have taken care that the "slime" doesn't run free. The outlet is just a hand breadth over the ground.

    You would really expect from PEA workers that they have proper safety equipment like protecting gloves. It was not Somchai at his garage.

    Charger with metal housing. Rotten wire getting connected to housing?. Very likely no earth/ground connection at plug/socket and extremely likely no ELCB which would have saved him from the worst. Not much to do with water on the ground. Many older houses have two wire electric only.

    Immigration calendar shows August 1st and 2nd as holidays. both important bhuddist holidays with alcohol ban. It does not show anything about Monday July 31st. Bank of Thailand shows August 1st as holiday and not 2nd. And what is a long weekend worth with two dry days ????
