Oct 2017 School Hol's

Featured Replies

Does anyone know what the October school holiday dates are?

It depends on the school.  I have schools in my area that do not have a holiday. I also have schools that finish the last day in September

Our school's last working day is October 7th; first day back to work is October 30th.  I am sure there are a myriad of variations throughout Chiang Mai.  Ask your school.

Pretty sure the OP is talking about the royal cremation. As far as I know only Thursday Oct 26 is listed as a holiday. October 13th will now be a holiday as the anniversary of the kings death, also you have October 23 Chulalongkorn day.

Difference between regions and schools. Where I am it starts October 13.

Hilariously I asked at the school and they didn't seem to know....but eventually I got it from them. Starts 6th Oct and school back 1st Nov. this is at a school in Korat. Good luck on this one.

At a school in Chiang Rai last day of school is September 29 returning October 30.

Which schools? Thai? Usually the whole month.

Yes, it's a Govt. school in Surin. It appears to be the month of Oct by proxy.
