tracker1 Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 What using mains power thats as good as manslaughter ! then again the victim was Burmese no worries !
Ross Macdonald Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 If he wasn't doing something illegal he would still be alive. I defend the owners right to defend his property by any means he chooses...
BigBadGeordie Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 So a Burmese man was electrocuted in Siam.
over it Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 He didn't put a sign up because he wanted to hurt or kill the person who had been stealing. TIT
worgeordie Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 The pond owner must not have had time to install the landmines yet ! regards worgeordie

nobodysfriend Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 I do not know if electric fences with voltages high enough to kill a man are legal here ... but there should be at least A WARNING SIGN ! What about playing kids ...?
rosst Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Totally disgusted with this, lock the owner up and charge him with manslaughter at the very least.

Not 100%, but almost what Thai law says. Providing there is something on the property work protecting. Illegal if there is nothing of value on the property. but there should be at least A WARNING SIGN ! What about playing kids ...? Most Thai children in the countryside know not to go near a fence with little strips of shopping bag tied to it. Edited September 13, 2017 by VocalNeal

Paul944 Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 That owner is lucky it is a burmese guy in his twenties and not a kid of the village head. He probably gets a fine and maybe has to pay for the funeral.

Maybe if you had been robbed a few times you would not go around making allegations and flying your goodie two shoes banner that you are against Trump. You actually ended up saying something quite stupid.... My house got robbed four times so I too do not have any sympathies for the thief, be he of any gender, religion, nationality. On behalf of the fish farmer, I hope the thief was fried to a crisp. Edited September 14, 2017 by LazySlipper
richard_smith237 Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 It could have been kids messing around... Using deadly measures is an extremely unbalanced response to someone who was hungry and looking for food... ... Yes, the guy was trespassing and was in the wrong, but this is manslaughter... connecting up a fence to the mains power supply is a deliberate act to severely injure and / or kill. My opinion would be different if the fence was wired correctly to deter but not kill.

Also, think of the kids. A cattle fence is 4000volts, but it hurts - a lot - but it doesn't kill trespassers.

Yes, in the USA, we are all free to kill anyone we want without repercussions. Yay.
