BANGKOK: -- The new tax rates for cigarettes and alcoholic drinks come into effect tomorrow but for smokers and drinkers it is a waiting game to find out how much their habit is really going to increase.

4 year old Chinese boy drowned in Patong Beach

A 4 year old Chinese boy, Wu Muyang, taken to hospital from Patong beach last night (September 14) after he was washed into the rough seas by a big wave near a reef.

PHUKET: -- An online group set up on the mobile phone app Line as part of the launch of a pollution and garbage dumping reporting project in July has so far seen 20 cases of rubbish, wastewater and “other” incidents of pollution reported, with eight of the 20 being resolved.

Facebook removes feature that let ads reach ‘Jew haters’
