Is it worth it ..............?

Insurance renewal is coming up shortly. I have had the number 1 insurance for 6 years with a small claim made this year for a fender bender.

Truck is now valued at 270,000 and No. 1 insurance is 11,000. Would you advise continuing or should I be looking at cheaper insurance. I drive very little. For example the truck is a 2010 model and has 97000 km's on the clock.

Many thanks for all opinions.

I pay it for piece of mind....If I was in farangland I wouldn't...:stoner:

The Day you change, is a Day mos folks need 1st class.Just pay it n relax..

Yes - at least you'll get replacement value, or close to it - for what, 850B a month?

Up to you.

We have 2nd class Insurance at half of 1st class price on 1 car, it's used little but that makes no difference in my logic.

The Motorbike can't get 1st class over 3 year old.

Better to get rebates for various conditions: Single driver, around ฿1100.-,

buying a carcam, about 5 -10%,

agreeing to pay the first ฿5000.-  on any incident, about ฿2000.- (if your insurer agrees).

I hate paying the full whack, and so did my wife until we actually needed to use it.

If you can afford it, it really is worthwhile it for the peace of mind it gives you.

Important is to have an insurance agent that you have met personally, not an anonymous internet entity.
