I will arrive in Pattaya on October 1 around midday.

My plan is to go straight to a bar and watch the Malaysian GP

I wont have much time to search for a bar showing the race.

So where is the best place , around Soi 10 ,  to watch the race.

Retox bar I've never watched it but I think they do a deal a Pint and a pizza for about 279THB.And Ive never seen so many TVs in one place apart from a Eltroinc shop.

Most of tbe beer bars on beach road show F1 races the Red cat is a decent one. Three tv dotted around so you can swivel around. Its by soi 8 on beach rd.

Retox Game On is the best IMO.

Don't choose a bar with a live band on!

Another good choice soi 13 Sportsmans bar air con and lovley food as well

A bunch of petrolheads will be watching live at Wild Chicken on Soi 13/1 (aka Soi Post Office or Soi Paisanee), that's the Soi with Pizza Hut and McDonalds either side of the Beach Road end.  The bar is towards the east-end (Second Road end), just down from the Bodega Bar 'granny-grab emporium' on the corner with Second.

 

FWIW, they also follow all the practice sessions live in the days leading up to the race. Good place to do the same for MotoGP if 2-wheels is your game. Also good for hot-ticket US NFL and Aussie NRL games and even cricket with the added bonus of absolutely no EPL sh!te, ever!

There is a "Corner-Bar" (don't remember the name.....) on 2nd Road, maybe near Soi 15???? - Just before the Crossing with Pattaya Tai (coming from Jomtien..... they have the Formula 1 on several Monitors, including the Free Practice Sessions & Qualifying ..... AND they give you also SOUND - not just the Picture without any sound....

Most anywhere in Pattaya will have sport everyday. I like Metro Hotel bar on LK Metro, plenty of TVs, good cheap service & good food from the Golf Club bar accross the road.
