BANGKOK: -- Police have not been able to find the person who blast open a Bangkok Bank ATM machine in front of a Tesco Lotus Express store on Sept 13 before fleeing on a motorcycle with an amount of cash, metropolitan police chief Pol Lt Gen Sanit Manathaworn said on Tuesday (Sept 19).

 

Pol Lt Gen Sanit said several suspects were been brought for questioning, but none of them were found to be involved in the blast which took place in front of a Tesco Lotus Express store in Soi Krungthep Kreetha 35 in Saphan Sung district.

 

According to a report from a team of investigators, the perpetrator was believed to have blast open the ATM machine with heat from gas cylinder of a roasted chicken shop because soot was found on the damaged machine but not any part of a bomb was found on it.
