Brother of Democrat ex-MP found dead in car

By The Nation

An elder brother of former Democrat MP Charnchai Isarasenarak was found dead in his car at a petrol station in Pathum Thani province on Tuesday night, police said.

The body of Charnnarong Isarasenarak, 62, was found in the driver’s seat at a petrol station on Rangsit-Nakhon Nayok Road in Moo 4 village, Tambon Lamphakkood, Thanyaburi district at 9.30pm.

The petrol station was about to be closed at 9.30pm when workers noticed a Toyota Camry still parked in front of the station’s toilet. One of the workers, Charoenthat Boonlua, 16, checked inside the car and found the body.

Charoenthat said he remembered the car driving into the petrol station at 4.30pm.

Charnnarong was an elder brother of former Democrat MP from Nakhon Nayok, Charnchai.

Charnnarong’s nephew-in-law told police that the man was single and had no health problems. He frequently travelled from Nakhon Nayok to Bangkok as part of his work.
