I live in Sathorn and have not been able to use True internet for more than 24 hours. Rang them at around 11 am yesterday and they said it would be fixed at 6 pm. Rang at 7 pm and they said "to be sure" (Filipino-ese), it would be fixed at midnight. Rang them this morning and they said it would be fixed at noon. Rang them just after noon and they said it would be fixed at around 3 pm.

 

Apparently (duh!) there is a major fault in the area. A large team of wire men have been installing the beautiful lines in the sky along Sathorn for a couple of days, so I suspect that is related.

 

Anyhoo, no sign of it being fixed...  

 

(I think I'm subscribing to their new service "True Offline".)

Service restored at about 4 pm yesterday. I imagine a lot of businesses in the Sathorn CBD area were greatly inconvenienced, especially on the last working day of the month. Hey ho!
