Certainly not the first or the last, good luck with it. I have been married to my Thai wife for thirty eight years but did know her for a year or so before tying thee knot.

Dunno, I agreed to marry mine after a week, was married a week later, lasted 8 years so far.

The previous one in the UK, dated for two years and was a complete disaster.

As for the reporting quality .......

Was it his previous wife that weighed 350lbs?

He certainly doesn't look that big.

I weighed 350... Had stomach bypass surgery, went down to 181...

Oh and met a Filipino girl 29 years younger than me 10 yrs ago this month..

Wish them both well.

Same situation for me. 18 years later still working well.

Not quite sure about the move away from Thailand though, that could put

a strain on things

My main photo on my FB is me standing very close to a 22 year old beauty.  She was doi g a Carlsberg promo at a uni bar.  I wasn't pawing her..just a photo.  Other than her bare stomach and shoulders, it was pretty conservative.  I don't even remember her name.  You should hear the feminazis proclaim bloody murder...that is why I keep it there, where it will remain.  They are so quick to judge, when they have no idea of the circumstances.  And even if I was married to her or simply giving her money...still perfectly legal, and she is still perfectly beautiful.  I didn't make the laws; I just abide by them.

Happiness is a state of mine, from what you say you dont have the right state of mind

You are correct in that assessment, however, "just" the mind isn't all to the equation, just like age isn't "just" a number.

Ok OK..we all know the possible scenarios that may come of this based on all of our experiences..but you have to give them the benefit of the doubt for now...maybe he did find that diamond in the rough...who knows...lets wish him luck and if something should go sour with this, then lets wish him little pain and suffering..

would be nice to get a follow up story month to month since its now a public interest and has all of our attention now

So the net is, it will be a whole lot easier for him to get a visa to get married and live happily together in Thailand than for her to get a visa to be married and live happily together in the USofA.

Weighing 350 lbs., he split from his wife of 21 years, lost his job, his house and his cars and was “absolutely destitute,” he reveals in the clip.

and hes going for a second helping, he obviously did not learn much from his first experience.:post-4641-1156693976:

Well, he looks a hell of a lot happier than the bitter guys back home who pass their time bitching about how they got screwed by the ex...

Kudos to you mate...

Met mine in a bar after day 4 of a 14 day holiday, I came back 6 weeks later, took her back to Australia where we got married 4 months to the day that I met her back in Phuket.

Moved here 2 years ago, when I retired @ 55, have an 8 year old and a 3 year old daughter to her, in all, we have been very happily married for 10 years, she is my rock, prior to her, I was married to someone 5 years my junior for 12 years, she had a big mouth, very jealous, possessive and insecure.

This girl is 21 years my junior, never breaks my balls, is quiet, has a great personality, is sexy and cooks like she is a master chef.

Her career of 7 months as a "bar girl" has never bother me, as I saw her for who she is and the necessity for her survival.

I now refer to her as my "village slut" and life without her would put me in the same category as most of these negative, burnt old men on TVF 555

No superfluous comment sir, only  :clap2:

A great story. Mine is similar, although I'm more bashful about it.

I sometimes wonder while she is trimming my toenails for me - what Western woman would do this for her man?

You wrote it, I quote it. I realize it was a typo. Lighten up.

Hope it really works out for them....but that he remains wise and cautious on money issues !...

No need for kids...no property in her name, no financing of the family or sick buffalo...and if he passes away, nothing for her in the will.....and thus many such a relation would last out for ages....

Such negative comments....haven't found miss right yet, been burnt to a crisp, move on mate, their in love, what is your beef, if it goes pear shape, whatever, let them enjoy their life, your comments do nothing but put you down IMO

i didn't read anything in the article that states or suggests love by her.  Not to put them down, but seems 10 days he can only judge his feelings with his pecker and her with his wallet. My thai wife is 21 years younger and we were together 2 years before marrying.. Now together 5 years.. No dowry.

Seems to me money is definitely a factor here.  But without love it will not last.

Why do so many guys in TV only post negative shit ?
Wake up moody day by day ???
Let them live their life without judging !
Why can't  a bargirl be the right partner for somebody ?
Most of you run after them when your "ladies" make you angry. SO ???

Oh wow. You have morals? So did all the priests of the Roman Catholic Church engaged in paedophilia.

So you've never lied to anyone or cheated someone, right? wakeupplease.

I feel quite hungry after all this talk of food

48 years old hooking up with a 24 old isn't anything worth discussing. I've seen enough 70 year old/20 year old hookups in the LOS since I've been here.

Good luck getting that K1 visa. As soon as the embassy knows you worked at a bar, they'll find any reason to deny it.

Beat me too it, I know people that were married 2, 3 years and wife couldn't get a Visa because she worked in a Bar  -  Since San Bernadino, the K-1 Visa has been harder and harder to get, the only saving grace is he met her 'singing in a bar' which deflects any accusation of prostitution marraige.

I wish them luck, but am not holding my breath on the K-1, might take a letter from a Congressman, and it will have to be one the Consular Officer adjudicator likes  (hahaha) - they hold all the cards in these matters.
