webfact Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Video: Just when you thought the fight was fair - along comes another Thai! Picture: Thai Rath A much viewed video on Facebook showed that it is not just Uber and Taxis getting into violent fistfights and kick-fests in Pattaya. This time it was motorcycle taxi guys brawling in broad daylight being filmed from a shop by a Russian tourist. Though the fight starts off as reasonably fair despite an age difference between "Win Number 23" and "Win Number 13" it soon turns into a two on one fight. Unlucky 13 is thereafter pummeled by "Win Number 29" who piles in with fists and feet. Nobody knew what it was about. But Thai Rath commented that foreigners online said that they thought two on one was unfair. Posters on forums like Thaivisa regularly complain that fights in Thailand are rarely one on one. A couple of weeks ago fines were handed out as a taxi driver and a Uber driver squared off. It remains to be seen what will happen after this melee. Yesterday's fight was featured on the Facebook page of Моя Паттайя. Source: Thai Rath -- © Copyright Thai Visa News 2017-10-11

ezzra Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Nothing more pleasing than to see two locals duke it out for a change rather than gang up and beating on a foreigner... I'm going to buy 29 up and down in the next lottery....

HLover Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 They look like nice people, unlike those meanies that tried to overcharge me last month.
canuckamuck Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Both times when the extra guy jumped in, the fight was basically over and the one guy was clearly accepting defeat. The extra guy seemed to be disappointed the beating was over and wanted to get it going again.

dinsdale Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Territory dispute. As for 29, typical coward. Attacks from behind then when it seems to be over jumps in again. Body of a man, brain of a baby.

wvavin Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 I have yet to see any clean fights in this country. In my opinion, most of them are cowards.

Western people know when they kill they will end up in prison, so try not to kill. Asians, in general, don't ever think about consequences of their deeds.
shanesox Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 The mbike pattaya Mafia who ask 100 baht at Bus station to go to dolphin roundabout ! Walk across the road 30 metres and it’s 40 baht! Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect
GordonP Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 I was stuck watching some Thai comedy that was being shown in the dentists waiting room last week and was surprised to note that even a comedy slapstick fight depicted half a dozen guys putting the boot into a solitary victim.
