Last year a grafted dekapon was 1600 baht so i didn't buy...now i see them everywhere and bought one for 150.

But will they fruit in thailand (actually in BKK) and are the fruits nice like in Japan??

Has anybody tried them already grown in thailand?

What is the best soil for them and which fertilizer? I don't know what rootstock it's grafted on.

Never heard of dekopon until now.  An ethnic Japanese farmer in Brazil has been successful in getting them adapted to tropical climates.  After harvest the fruit are stored for 30 to 40 days.  This raises the brix to 16.  You might be interested in this article from the LA Times. www.latimes.com/food/la-to-dekopon-20110217-story.html.  Evidently budwood from Japan carries Tristeza and needs to be cleaned up.
