webfact Posted October 17, 2017 Share Posted October 17, 2017 Cars abandoned as northern Bangkok floods again after heavy rain Picture: Thai Rath Thai Rath reported that Chaeng Wattana Road was badly hit by flooding last night as one hour of torrential rain hit the northern Bangkok area. An 800 meter stretch of the main artery in Pak Kret was flooded over the footpaths as smaller vehicles struggled to traverse the road between the expressway and Central department store. If only the management would humble themselves to seek advisement from a flood prone society that have managed well in such circumstance: i.e. the Dutch **sigh** To be fair, maybe the locals have misinterpreted the word 'dike'.
