20 million baht in 2 years, that`s almost 1 million baht a month. WOW, one hell of a scam.

As I have said; foreign criminals would not be able to operate in Thailand without the collaboration of Thais. In my opinion his Thai accomplices are the worse criminals of the bunch. 20 million baht, he won`t get off this one with a 500 baht fine and a slap on the wrist. The Dane has had his bacon.

What is the reason the Thai's are worse than him, he is the one that probably organised and set it up.

Are they worse than him just because they are Thai, or have brown skin and the Danish guy has white skin.

I would be interested to know a full cogent non xenophobic reason as to why in your opinion the Thais are worse than the Danish guy.

My personal opinion is that they are all as bad as each other.

3,782 people have Schultz as surname in Denmark. The Germans must have left a few offspring when they invaded.

What is going on here this domain name has never been registered so therefor it never existed as a website

Any idiot can check, except the BIB by the looks of things

is this a bib scam?

Try it yourself

https://www.whois.com

and

You win the prize !   netcraft.com has nothing also.  The RTP may have gotten the URL wrong, or he might have given them a false one.  Two years of fraud!  Thailand remains a bastion of such behavior.

If he has saved the money he made, of course he won't be jailed.

Who would appreciate having paid and reserved in advance to have their holiday ruined on arrival ?

Their sentence should be harsh enough to serve as  deterrrence for those with crooked minds who think Thailand is a safe haven for crime....

Lock up the cheat in Bangkok Hilton and no more Danish Butter Cookies for a while....:hit-the-fan:

Who is stupid enough to book on a unknown website deserves to be cheated.

He's no "Great Dane" is he? Complete hound though!

See @Thaiwrath - my jokes are worse than yours! :omfg:

Good work RTP!   I'm impressed with the intelligence network of RTP.  I believe they are getting better at catching criminals. There system of shaming criminals on media is innovative.

Enjoy your extended stay at the "Bangkok Hilton" scumbag!

Why is it that whenever there is a report naming someone a post appears questioning the name and nationality of the person.... Its a Big Multicultural Cosmopolitan world out there...  its time to get over these daft little issues....

No one deserves to be cheated....  they didn't 'have it coming' and may be guilty of naivety, but they didn't 'deserve it' much in the same way you wouldn't deserve to die if you ride in a car without a seat belt or on the back of a motorcycle taxi without a helmet... (can you honestly say you've never done any of those?)....

Why Schultz is not Danish. Oh Bush is not an American name either. Or what about Trump??

When you look in the geography of Europe you would notice that the German country of Schleswig-Holstein is bordering to the Danish province of Jutland. Oh and Jutland is not a Danish name either it is more like Dutch. Oh and Dutch should not be confused with German. Since German people speak German or Deutsch. Hmm strange to findicate out. Like where did the Anglo-Saxon come from. Oh of course not from England but from Germany. Same as the Name France originally comes from the arear of Frankenthal. A part in Germany near the French border east from river Rhine. Hmm okay okay maybe to difficult but be happy that in Amsterdam we have the walletjes and in New York there is a Wallstreet. Oh how about Brooklyn hmm sounds like Breukelen an Harlem looks like Haarlem. Etc etc etc.

Well said @richard_smith237 !

In my circle of friends (I'm British) I know hardly anyone whose surname  guarantees their racial background. And if you look at the USA, how may German, Irish, English, Polish, Indian etc etc names are there? But the people concerned may be 2nd or 3rd generation Americans.

Those of us who clearly have travelled to other continents than our own should be especially aware of that.

Winnetou and Pocahontas are the only real native American names I know. Sitting bull is not I think.

Someone needs to phone those cops and tell them to buy the website name, its on offer now and never been registered.

Register this domain for $9.88

maybe the spelling isn't correct, this is Thailand and reporting is not always correct.

According to Danmarks Statistik, there are currently 3.782 persons with the surname Schultz in Denmark. 21 called Jacob Schultz, so it is not that rare too.

Am I doing something wrong here, because it looks to me like that DN was registered back in 2015

http://m.whoismind.com/whois/vacasianhotels.com.html

Also that first name of Jacob seems to me more like a Jewish name than anything.

www.netsecure.co.th - Outdated, unprofessional site. Amature.

May just be a front to cheat others with services for a fee... as well as legitimize/present himself to unknowledgeable or  unsuspecting victims.

Lovin' the chart they made!

Great work, Thai police.

They claimed that the website vacasianhotel.com had tricked tourists out of their money when they booked stays at Thai hotels.

Can't resist playing with words here: allowing multiple languages, vacasianhotel  could mean cows in a hotel.  I wonder who their target market was....   :cheesy:

Are you actually so unworldly?

Mohammed is not a Scandanavian name either. But it's over there now!

Hopefully he has booked himself a small room with plenty of inmates .

Schultz and his five Thai fellow conmen; "Police are hunting for the five alleged accomplices."

Well, good luck Mr Schultz, you've been creamed nicely, the culprit is in the slammer and if the hunting is successful it's the B500 slap on the back of the rist of the rest of the flock!

Question remains what the real name of that website was, as said website was never registered indeed!

Another scumbag hits the dust. As for the name Schultz  I was thinking about maybe he is related to Hogan's Hero Sgt Schultz. Was that P.O.W. camp situated in Denmark? But those guys were always up to no good like this guy. I suppose when he was talking to the police money would of been mentioned and what size envelope was be accepted for him to just disappear.

If the victims paid with a credit card they will get their money back.

More likely Dutch Schultz, but without the violence

Denmark has a boarder with Germany, lots of intermingling, mixed marriages etc. in many towns on or near the boarder you can speak German or Danish.

Maybe some German seeds were (im)planted many years ago?
