webfact Posted October 19, 2017 Share Posted October 19, 2017 Garbage dump in Pathum Thani draws complaints By Thai PBS Many people in Thanyaburi district of Pathum Thani province have complained that their land, which is located near the garbage dump of Muang Sanan Municipality, has been covered by garbage for over ten years. The Muang Sanan Municipality has dumped garbage on a plot of land in Tambon Bung Sanan in Pathum Thani’s Thanyaburi district, making a mountain of about 50,000 tonnes of waste materials. People living around the dump site said the garbage has spilled on about 30 rai of their land for over 10 years, sending out foul smells and polluting nearby natural water resources. farcanell Posted October 20, 2017 Share Posted October 20, 2017 Yep.... maybe zuckerburger can help... lol... but seriously, waste management has become very high tech, with many expert people/ companies around, who would love to provide their services to fix this.... but the government won’t let them (with laws etc as they stand), so reap what you sow, thailand. cracker1 Posted October 21, 2017 Share Posted October 21, 2017 "In an immediate response of the complaints, the municipality has deployed backhoes and ten-wheeled trucks to transport the garbage to Kaeng Khoi district in Saraburi province for disposal." I am sure that the people of Kaeng Khoi district in Saraburi province will not be very happy about this.? Does not seem to be a sensible solution to a long developing problem ?
