Drowned Pathum Thani man had been dead for days

By The Nation

A 49-year-old man drowned in his flooded home in Pathum Thani’s Lat Lum Kaeo district days before his body was discovered on Tuesday morning, police said.

They said a medical examination showed that Wichien Phetchsao died four or five days ago. He had been moving his belongings away from floodwaters at his one-storey house in Tambon Rahaeng when he apparently fainted and drowned.

Wichien’s wife, Pranom Pandam, 47, told police that they lived in separate homes and would, from time to time, visited one another. The body was sent for an autopsy before it will be released for a funeral.
