Football Team For Kids In Bangkok

Featured Replies

Our 2 boys (11 and 8 years) ask me every day when they can learn to play football. Which youth football clubs/teams are there in Bangkok? Do they have leagues? How can I find them? I searched the web already but found next to nothing.

Good point FFM, I have also wondered about this, Thais don't really seem to focus much on their sport, especially for the young kids.

Man Utd and Arsenal have set up football schools internationally but not as yet in Thailand, I think the nearest there is, is in Singapore, I did know a guy from Bangkok a while back who knew Effenberg from the German team of the 90's and he had attempted to open a coaching school here....maybe it did'nt work out.

It would be great for all if Thailand could concentrate on some sorts of sports accademies for the younger generation.

Great for the kids ... who will wake you up very early every Saturday :-)

there is a saturday morning football clinic at my school every week, i am pretty sure it is open to all kids (not just students from the our school)... I will find out and let you know.... it's a bit like AusKick as far as I know, but I guess if you aren't from Aus you wont know what auskick is....

Our school offers an indoor futsal game every Monday which is perfect practice for younger children. New additions are welcome. Where are you based?

We are also thinking of trying to get some inter school friendly matches organised. If anyone is interested in this please drop me a line.

Thanks!
