Like is still but there is no emojis.

Hover the mouse pointer over like and you see this after moving it left.

Will the like buttons be back to normal, they were quite pleasant to look at, a nice gimmick having 4 choices. But the present set up is dark blue on a black background, you have to squint to see the choices.

It is being worked on. Should be back soon.

If you move the mouse pointer over them the selections come up like it shows in my post.

Great, back now.  Like using Tapatalk is fine, when your'e using Tapatalk.

Since today, all avatars with an animated gif are no longer appearing.

Not only animated ones. Mine is gone as well. It appears that only avatars posted within the last couple of years are showing.

Seem to have got it back by re-uploading it.

In your profile, Click the 'Profile Photo' icon on the top left hand  side, then follow the instructions to re-upload it.
