And this is not even counting being robbed by a maid, a couple of mobiles swiped off bars (careless to be fair) and actually catching a repairman in the act of rumaging through drawers whilst fixing a water heater. Fact is this lot would nick anything that isn't bolted down and don't care who gets hurt in the process. There are many 'dangerous' countries, and many 'dangerous' places in 'safe' countries. Thailand is, in the main 'safe' but there are many, many, many, acts of violent crime against Thais and Farangs on a daily basis as witnessed right here. That includes the good looking girl who receives money to stop working in a bar, but she never does. Five foreigners then sending her money every month, does the trick. Motorcycle gangs, mafia, drugs, guns, pedophiles and child porn, spiked drinks, aggressive lb who kick the shi..e out of “innocent” farangs, girls who tell their customers that buffaloes got sick, mom has cancer, brother an accident, school for seven kids has to be paid, plus many other stories, Pattaya is always good for anything that's illegal.
