The issue was about what you think is required for a legal checkpoint. Blowing smoke doesn't answer my reply to your false claim about cones. Next.

A sad day to see a fallen officer. Wish him for recovery from his injuries. If their gonna do this kind of operation they need proper tools like some spike strips after the inspection point...Hopefully they learn from this unfortunate situation.

Not being in LE I don't know the standard procedure for stopping fast moving motorcycles but that certainly did not look like a safe maneuver.  

I understand he was trying to do his job but Thailand has to better train and equip their LE.  

More quality, less quantity so that they can pay em better and lower corruptive motives.

I've seen those spike traps in the movies which might have worked better in this case.

 

Just hope the policemen fully recovers and that those 2 idiots spend lots of time behind bars.
