Buying a Samsung J5 (2017) in Pattaya

Featured Replies

I am thinking of getting a Samsung J5 and would have normally started at Tukcom.

Has anyone got any personal experiences of a better option?

Thank you

Shops in Harbor Mall gave my wife a better price than Tutkom on a J7 and very pleasant to deal with.

You could also try Lazada

That’s a good call. I have also got some good deals on electronic goods in Harbor Mall.

I wanted the 2017 version because that gets the most favourable reviews.

I use Lazada and benchmark their prices against anything I am looking to buy.

Lazada have it at 11,299 Baht.

I didn't think about Harbour Mall  (wasn't overly impressed on my first visit - perhaps I went at the wrong time).

On Friday a friend called me from Tukcom to say a shop had the J5 2017 at 6,990 Baht but would discount to 6,000 Baht. Certainly happy with that price, it is definitely the 2017 version and has a 1 year guarantee.

?

A J5 (whatever big RAM etc.) for more than 11000 Baht?

Just bought a J7+ (4GB RAM, 2.4 GHz octacore) for 10400.

Be careful with some of the small shops, some Samsung can be a cheap Chinese knock offs.

I bought my Samsung j7+ at a dealer that have many shops all over Thailand.

I got mine for 11k app 3 week ago.

Mine bought from Lazada (fulfilled by Lazada).

I used some tooling apps to see what's inside and there is little reason to doubt that it is genuine.

A quantam leap compared to my previous problem part.

Price is dropping.

9900 today :glare:

Bought the youngster a J7+ for 10,400 including case/screencover and other goodies....which the missus has already nicked!:post-4641-1156693976:...The Samsung shop in Central (nearest to Powerbuy). Assistant copied all his apps from his old phone there and then.
