Be advised that it can be very dangerous to elf supplement weith iodine, it is toxic in dosages exceeding what you need. And all the salt here is iodized so you are already likely taking in more than you may realize.

In addition almost every Thai concoction has fish sauce and dried shrimp in it....and a high iodine content

Believe that should read table salt?  As many/most Thai use non iodized sea salt for cooking and seasoning.

According to UNICEF (2012) only 70.9% of households use iodised salt.

 

And iodine deficiency remains a major problem in the north east.
