Thai medical care

Featured Replies

My Thai wife wants to move her address to Pattaya from up north. So she can get Thai social medical care or the 30 baht program. Does she need any documentation so she can get medical care here in Pattaya? She said, she needs the book to the house I just bought. The house is in a corporation name. Any ideas or information so she can get the social medical care in Pattaya.

She has to change her ID/home registration from (probably currently her parents) to a house registered in Pattaya.  That is what she wants to do on the company house blue book.  It lists those that live in that residence.  If that is an issue it could be a friends house.  Then she can register for free/30 baht medical treatment at local facilities.

If she wants to use her Social Security she'll have to register her new address with SS and be assigned a hospital there.

As he mentions the 30 baht system, it is not SS but rather the universal (AKA gold card or 30 baht) system.

For that, she needs to be listed in a tabian ban in Pattaya  as advised in the first reply.

Since he mentioned both, I supplied info regarding SS.  If not him, it might help someone else.
