Nine para-military rangers were injured, one of them seriously, when a truck in which they were travelling skidded out of the road and turned upside down in a ditch on the Asian highway in Jana district of Songkhla Sunday morning.

Police said that one of the rangers, Veerayuth Chimlert, passed out after he was crushed on the neck by a steel bar and he was immediately rushed to Jana and Na Mom hospitals along with the other rangers who were less injured.

Corporal Phirawat Thipnat, the driver, reportedly told the police that he was transporting altogether 18 rangers, including himself and two assistants from the 44th ranger regiment base in Sai Buri district of Pattani to the destination at Hat Yai airport.

The driver can this time blame the rain, not the brakes.

From what I can see  ,the tyres look ok so maybe the pot hole was to blame , ok it was full of water and driver not paying enough attention.  Do we have a bus crash yet today ?

One Can't blame the weather, No matter what the weather is, One should rive accordingly.   :wai:

I bet you a ranger is in more danger of dying or getting injured in a road accident than in combat, even in the troubled South.

Looking at that picture they are lucky they were only injured and not killed.
