Hi

I am marrying my fiance in Feb (amphur registration) with the Buddhist ceremony (the real one for her) and will be submitting the Spouse application in February after the wedding registration. I have a couple of questions:

1 I have a good job with the NHS. I earn £42,000 pa basic plus another 6-10K from a small business I have on the side. However I also live well and spend my salary, especially as I will have been to Thailand 4 times in 6 months by April and will be paying for a wedding. So my bank balance is usually in the red. Once my fiance is here my expenditure will reduce. Will my bank statements prejudice my case?

2 We met in October 06 in Bkk and I have been back at xmas. I will be there in February and April too (Tickets bought and proof available). I have copies of approx 150 e mails that we have sent to each other plus evidence of many hours of telephone conversations. Should I copy all 150 emails or will a selection suffice with a printout of my inbox showing all the emails listed?

Is this proof enough of a real relationship?

Thanks for your time

Simon

3 We spend an hour every morning chatting on messenger but I have no way of proving this I don't think? Should I write a covering note explaining this.

If the overdraft is approved by the bank and you are servicing it to the bank's satisfaction and are able to support yourself and wife then it should be ok.

A printout of your inbox will suffice. The contents of the e-mails are private between the two of you, but printing out a small selection wont hurt. Also you phone bill showing calls to Thailand and explain in your covering letter that you communicate by MSN too.
