But Sa Kaew immigration in Aranyaprathet soon had Kiril Nettrusov in custody. He claimed he had gone to Cambodia on December 8th and been robbed of all his money and passport. A call to the Cambodian officials found that they had told him to seek assistance from the Russian embassy in Cambodia. After that he made a run for Thailand - he said he wanted to get to see a friend in Pattaya. An old passport was found in his bag. Thai immigration detained him amid fears that he may be a wanted international criminal. So glad we are forced to pay to be "protected" from becoming victims of such atrocities! Maybe they should build a "Friendship Wall" a la Trump to completely prevent this?!
