Russian makes dash for Thailand - nabbed at Cambodian border

irtjkfgnfg.JPG

A Russian made a dash for Thailand at the Friendship Bridge between the kingdom and Cambodia yesterday.

But Sa Kaew immigration in Aranyaprathet soon had Kiril Nettrusov in custody.

He claimed he had gone to Cambodia on December 8th and been robbed of all his money and passport.

A call to the Cambodian officials found that they had told him to seek assistance from the Russian embassy in Cambodia.

After that he made a run for Thailand - he said he wanted to get to see a friend in Pattaya.

An old passport was found in his bag.

Thai immigration detained him amid fears that he may be a wanted international criminal.

What a horrific crime - trying to cross an imaginary line on a giant, round mass moving through space at 67000 miles an hour!

So glad we are forced to pay to be "protected" from becoming victims of such atrocities!

Maybe they should build a "Friendship Wall" a la Trump to completely prevent this?!

I thought you were not allowed to ride in the back of trucks

Truck not moving so whats the problem...

When If they confirm he is not a wanted person they should just push him back over the boarder.

Lucky, so many East Europeans did not fair so well after trying to run across the Soviet boarders.
