Mail from USA

Featured Replies

I have been having mail forwarded monthly from USA to Bangkok for many years and it used to take 7-8 days using Air Mail. Now it takes 2 weeks and switching to Priority Air Mail does not make a big difference. Has anyone else noticed a difference in incoming mail service here ?

Are you talking letters or parcels....

In the past year stuff ordered online just isn't getting through.....Little stuff does but the primo stuff is not making it....There was a FB discussion about it & all the comments reported about the same....I'm lucky if 40% is coming through....I've (and many others) pretty much given up.....

Before that was close to 100% good on deliveries......

My mom always sends birthday cards to my kids. A few years ago it took 18-21 days, then it was 30 days (if they arrived at all, but that's another discussion). The last card sent postmarked Nov 3/Tacoma Wa arrive Dec. 15

Last year I was getting Christmas cards in March postmarked Mid December.

A off topic political comment meant to deflect the topic has been removed.

Check with your local post office. Mail isn't delivered every day in many areas, but sometimes the local letter carrier can unilaterally decide to further cut back on the delivery frequency without the local post office's knowledge.

I live 50 feet from the Post Office.....I think the Thai Postal Service must really be backed up. Some day this department might get the PM’s attention lol
