Two days later an announcement that seatbelts on buses would be looked into

I am definitely in the 'you are a guest in this country,  you chose to come and live here, they didn't ask you or force you, so if you dont like it, leave'

Reasonable comment...yet, there are the compulsive whiners/whingers who feel it's their inalienable right to offer unsolicited "constructive criticism."  Doesn't make any sense, of course.  If you truly want to offer constructive criticism, you need to do in Thai on a Thai forum so the locals will actually read.

People on TVF seem very willing to offer 'constructive' critism of the US, regardless of the fact that they don't live there.
So a farang who actually lives in Thailand is 100% more justified in offering 'constructive' critism of the country he or she is a guest of!

Just be glad some people can vent their anger here in writing as opposed to going out on the street and venting it there with their fists....

Here's an idea, maybe have a daily moaning negative thread to give those types an opportunity to vent. For other threads perhaps they can try to be more neutral and less snidey

Good idea, but it wouldn't work. Only negative, snidey people would post on the negative nags thread and there'd be no happy, positive people to insult - now where's the fun in that? ?

Yeah that will work
