Hi, does anyone have any idea about how to import.

I asked an importer about bringing in a prefab house from China.

They said needs an import licence, difficult.

I asked about importing solar equipment.

Same answer. 

I also want to bring in aquaponic equipment, I darn't ask.

Anyone know for this? or any way round the above.

 

Surely we must be able to import something.

You should register a company, and apply your custom card. Then, you can do the import/export business.

Thanks, I intend to register a company. Then I can get a custom card? It will not be an import business but I will need to import some things.

 

I've imported many things from the US and China including John Deere Combines that were disassembled and packed in 40' containers.  I use and International Logistic Company in Bangkok and they can handle everything including obtaining  an import license if required.  Here's the contact info, you should contact Marc as he is the Bangkok Manager.  Ralf is the COO and spends his time between here and Miami, Florida:
