Apart from going and asking tonight at the pub can they be bought brand new anywhere around Pattaya ? 

You could always have a look on Collingbournes auction website. We bought some like that, but without the backs.

Also, you might take a quick butchers at Pattaya Auction Rooms, I did see some there last year. You can view on their online catalogue published on Mondays.

At least 3 furniture shops along South Road sell them, all between 3rd Rd and Sukhumvit, and probably many other places in Pattaya.

If you can buy used ones, there are several second-hand restaurant supply shops on Soi Kho Pai. I haven't been up there in a couple of years though,
