elmerxu
I entered through suvarnabhumi airport last week with a non-b visa, and i did not pay attention that the immigration officer just gave me 2 months stay which should be 3 months...should i go back to suvarnabhumi airport immigration to ask them correct it or any immigration office in town can do it? Thanks for any suggestions.

ubonjoe
You could go to a immigration office to get it corrected. If in Bangkok the Chaeng Wattana immigration office has a desk just for correcting the stamping errors.

james512
This has happened to me twice before. The first time, like you, i didn't notice and had to go to the nearest immigration office in to fix it. The second time I caught the mistake at the Immigration counter in Suvarnabhumi and had it corrected there and then. Always advisable to check your stamp, they can easily make mistakes.
Popular Post sfokevin
Last year I entered Thailand with a reentry permit (Retirement Extension)... The officer missed that I had put the reentry permit number on he arrival card in the visa number slot... He gave me the standard 30 days... I always check right after they hand it back to me... I noticed the mistake and politely showed him and he corrected it... Word of advise: 1. check your dates before you leave the immigration stand 2. I have now gotten in the habit of when I complete my arrival card on the plane I lay out the arrival card (showing I noted the visa/reentry number), Plane Ticket Stub & Visa/Reentry Page and taking a photo of all three with my cellphone... So if I have a problem I can prove I completed the form correctly...
dakineto
Happened to me last October. Just saw the wrong stamp a day before I went to immigration for visa extension. I didn't say anything to the officer and he didn't notice the wrong stamp, so it seems the date was correct in the system.
